    The pony looks a bit squished to me. I personally prefer to sacrifice a little bit of body in exchange for not squishing a character, but it's certainly pretty nice <3

    Yes but as he himself has said before, 'just because it's in Cloudsdale does not give people the laxation to post pointless posts with little to no content.' Paraphrasing but basically, Omnipony has a grudge against chaos and doesn't like threads that are free for all whatever goes, when they get out of hand :3

    Not exactly. PNG's are actually smaller if you are dealing with images with areas of solid colors, like pixel art and vectors, because PNG's are designed specifically to compress images like those. JPEG's will destroy the quality of pixel art and vectors (especially vectors) and have a larger file size because the compression used for JPEG's are designed for photos and other images with many gradients.

     

    Not all GIF's are animated images, but since PNG's came along, GIF's are generally reserved for animations.

    JK <3 Our friend here seems very basic in the whole process, so I cut it down to it's most basic level. *Often*, JPG's have a smaller file size than PNG's, and *often*, PNG's are known for higher quality. I'm aware of everything you've mentioned in general, though :3 Thanks~

    Like Chigens both says and demonstrates with his own avatar, there are simply three types of images across this great cesspool we call the internet. PNG, JPG, and GIF are the three most common image files. PNG is high quality images for more filesize, JPG is lower quality images for smaller file size, and GIF is an animated image. If you'd like to find GIF's, just type in 'gif' after your search terms on Google. For example, if I wanted a Rainbow Dash gif, I type in 'Rainbow Dash gif' on Google Images, and hunt for some. You can use sites like this one to resize, crop and add text to gif's while still keeping them as gifs. The quality will get pixely though depending on what you do to it, so look out. And remember, avatars are still 150X150 at max.

    I've roleplayed you a bunch so I can already tell you from that, that you're a talented writer :) this only proves my initial statement :).

     

     

     

    This is actually in correct written format. She writes with more dialogue and less description so it may appear wrong, but it is correct (think Of Mice And Men).

     

    Haven't read that in a while, but I suppose it makes sense ^^
