If I had to quickly summarise my opinions on the movie, I would say that I thought that it was an enjoyable watch, I found the characters to be likable (my favorite probably being Sprout), it had a light, comedic tone which I found to be charming and reminiscent of G4. I admired the fact that it acknowledged the events of its predecessor without leaning on it as a crutch, I felt that the movie very much had the confidence to be its own entity, which considering how many over franchise sequels have hurt themselves by doing just that, is a major relief of mine.
The film's biggest issue is clearly pacing. As in, it moves significantly too fast for its own good, because it's attempting to set up this new era of MLP, while simultaneously being an engaging narrative in its own right. This leads to several portions of the film feeling noticeably rushed, and decisions/motivations/developments feeling half-baked and undercooked as a result. I think that this sort of problem is emblematic of a ninety-minute movie that is kick starting a new property or series. I want to make it apparent that I don't believe that this problem destroys or cripples the movie in any sense, I still found myself engaged, but it did become increasingly glaring as the film progressed and I do find it rather difficult to overlook.
I'd score the movie a six or a seven out of ten. I thought that it was a potentially promising start to G5, which ended up suffering from the weight that it had carrying on its shoulders. I am hoping that with the legwork accomplished, the eventual show can slow itself down to a more even tempo and be every bit as beloved as the cartoon that brought us all together in the first place.

It's absolutely surreal to have Banjo-Kazooie on a Nintendo console for the first time in over twenty years. I myself can't wait to experience Ocarina of Time and Paper Mario especially.

I'm playing Luigi's Mansion 3 for the first time. I've heard almost nothing but great things about the game and I figured that it would be the perfect seasonal playthrough.

I would switch bodies with the Stay Puff Marshmallow Man, so I could terrorize cities Godzilla-style and then eat myself.

I'm feeling alright. It's just been a wild few weeks. My parents have been feuding back and forth and my house is up for sale, so it looks like a move in definitely on the horizon.
One of the bedrooms at the would-be new home has an exclusive toilet and shower room to itself, so fingers crossed.

I am trying, but holy crap, spinach is repulsive. At the same time though, I suppose that I don't need five sugars in my coffee.

For the most part, I despise Autumn and Winter, but I do like Halloween. I'm getting ready to (barely) trick and (gratuitously) treat.

I'm, like seventy-five/ eighty percent straight. I like to keep things interesting, y'know.

I have a really high-pitched and effeminate sneeze. It's one part cute, twenty parts embarrassing.

What a fun topic!
I would be both an exciting pet, and a exciting pet owner. On an unrelated note, is it getting hot in here, or is it just me?

For money? No.
For marshmallows? Yes.

Single, but ready to mingle. *Hint, hint*.

Facetious, sarcastic, and unbelievably lathargic. I'm basically your lazy house cat if they were a person.

Ice cream, no contest. Anyone who's saying donut is clearly a donut themselves.

It's a solid movie in my opinion, although its sequels are better across the board. I never quite understood the disdain for it, honestly. If you're really curious, I'd say go for it, couldn't hurt. The most you stand to lose is, like, seventy minutes.

Had way too much to drink tonight, but otherwise fine. I had some quality time with my father, so that was neat.

I haven't seen a lot of them, though from what I can tell, the majority are shovel-ware, straight to DVD garbage, so they're probably better off avoided.
As far as cinematic releases go, I thought that Frozen 2 was pretty bad. Apologies in advance to any fans of the series.
Rise of Skywalker was also really weak, but I don't think that's a contentious opinion.

I would definitely say Sloth. I'm only a fraction more active than a root vegetable, who, ironically, despises vegetables.
Followed somewhat closely by Wrath. Anybody who has ever seen me lose a video game knows precisely what I'm talking about.

Great choices. My stomach is tying up in knots right now...
Any Englander knows that the correct answer is Sticky Toffee with double cream. My family loves to bake and I love to eat baked goods, so I'm quite the lucky lady.

I would say a gaming session with a hot date who baby-feeds me ice cream while I play.
For anybody who doesn't know, I am nineteen.

Favourite G5 character so far?
in MLP Generation 5 (G5)
Of the Mane 5, my favorite is probably Pipp Petals, as she kind of resonates with me as a successor to Rarity. Sunny Starscout and Izzy Glow also stuck out to me as likable, so I'd definitely say that it's a three-horse race (hah) between the three of them.
