just watched and i liked it. didnt remember that rainbow found pikie pie annoying and didnt want to hang with her before this episode. find it kinda weird. so before that they were not really friends amazing how rainbow went from these harmless pranks and even agrees that they cant do a prank to fluttershy because shes so sensitive to that episode seasons later when she does annoying pranks. (i dont say anything but at the same thing i say it everything.. :ninja: no need to explain xD) also i noteiced at least these 5 episodes how twilight and pinkie's personalities are different from later seasons. i already commented twilight (before kinda sassy now kinda bland princess that does nothin). but i didnt see till now that pinkie before was more deep and dimensional. now it seems she has only one trait (the random/happy/4thwall breaker one) but before, her dialogues/worries/etc were a bit more mature, and humour crazy but not as crazy they tend to do this in all tv shows anyways. the more seasons, the more dumber or crazy a character gets. for example homer from the simpsons or joey from FRIENDS. still i love pinkie pie from newer seasons and i laugh a lot♥♥ also i like new twilight, but im sad she doesnt get that many spotlight now and is more "wanna be perfect princess". hope in S7 things change The friendship lesson was.. Hmm not sure . 'if a friend doesn't notice that has a mean friend, do nothing and just be a nice friend. Time will reveal that that friend is mean'. hmm not sure. If you do nothing maybe your friend starts being mean because of the bad influences, help element of loyalty but not to gilda lmao i feel the same. loved the first part. is so cute.

i understand your feeling since i see the simpson movie just as a long episode. but i do not fear with this one since the landscapes and drawings will be more detailed from the artworks i've seen. so that artistic upgrade plus famous cameo actors will make it like a big budget movie and not a tv movie/long episode

cute reboot toy lines. still gotta see if this affect the tv show or movie itself (not counting artworks) i dont think they will change the desings from the show but maybe the movieones yes. and maybe they create a new spin-off or something. i'll just wait!

I just watched it and I loved it xD I didn't remember this one. I laughed with Tired apple jack scenes xD Impresses me that big Mac talks A LOT in his first episode (I don't count the first one since it was just his family presentation). He has lots of sentences and not short ones. I love his voice so so much. For seasons we have him as not talkative pony as a recurring joke. But I think the writers should move on and made him talk again. We recently had some episodes where he talks a lot at least and that gave him more deep as his character. Let's see season 7 if he talks more too. I didn't remember that the cows could talk too lmao. Glad they don't appear that much in the show, since I prefer they waste the slot for other species episodes with mitologic species instead cows and so. Also cows stampeeding like they were real world cows smh xD I wonder why in equestria some animals talk and some others don't. The scene with the bunny stampede is super funny lmao I laughed. Them ponies acting super dramatic like it was the end of the world and being like dead at the floor just for some bunnies xD so good Also I like the detail of consistency making twilight asking why their family that appears in the first episode doesn't help AJ. most cartoons would just ignore that fact. Then I love the friendship lesson so much: gotta forget your proud and let your friends help you when you need it. I have to listen to this friend lesson xD

Just watched and oh God xD everypony is such an egoistic friend. So much interested for the ticket and its kinds hypocritical. Nice at the end of the episode they said sorry. And the lesson learned and sent to Celestia is WTF???? 'If mah friends don't go I don't go either cause I can't enjoy without them' that's a pretty bad friendship lesson! Also spike saying the gala is girly for girls and he doesn't wanna go wtf this show xD at the end we see that he likes to go but still pretends to not like it cause he's a boy and that gala is girly. What a message to kids. If I remember correctly later seasons they fixed these two issues with a spike enjoying 'girly' things and a friendship lesson that tells that you need time to spend only with a friend of the gang without the other feeling bad. So at least they redeem the third episode of the show xD I like more the newest episoded and seasons. Still I like this one. Loved rarity wanting to marry with Celestias nephew. (I guess it doesn't exist and it's just her imagination) also I laughed with the benny hill scene with that classic run/hide&seek and classic music xD so good hahaah ohmygod i laughed so much with this xD

I'm rewatching the show and I just watched these two. as a note: i rewatched all the season premieres/finales lots of times but the rest of episodes just once except a few ones that i love (specially rarity's ones ), but only rewatched them before summer 2015. so rewatching them all now 2017 its pretty new and refreshing, cause i dont remember a lots of them and less their jokes xD so i laugh like its new xD I remembered this premiere a lil less childish and more fast-paced, but still I loved to see the begging of the show. btw Seasons 5&6 tend to be hated saying they differ from the first seasons but they feel so much elaborated than the first ones, I love them too. I love how grumpy and anti social is twilight at first. Also a lil shady. Recent seasons have a so much more bland twilight which is a shame. At least now we have starlight that she is a bit like first seasons twilight xD Celestia knew about the profecy and sent twilight to make friends so she could defeat nightmare moon. But how she knew she could defeat her just making friends? And couldn't Celestia herself make some friends and defeat her? XD Also Apple jack telling twilight to trust her and let go at the riff and nothing more. I'm like wtf just tell her that the Pegasus will catch you! XD also I realized how egocentric and annoying rainbow dash its since EP 1 ugh I can't stand her worst pony imo And I love the painted intro so much. Very beautiful. I wish they made more flashbacks/legends told with that style. I enjoyed watching the episodes again tho. Very nice<3

nah i dont see it. if this was made at the 80s then i totally see it. i mean back then it was kinda a common thing to to this stuff xD plus a pony going real human to high school. i can see glitter and pink wigs too. yes at the 80sthis would be good xD not now. too cheesy. i dont even see the reverse situation: live-action girls go to a portal and transform into ponies in equestria. so basically 15 min live action + 1 hour animated + 10 live action. this is for the 80s again but i can extend it to the late 90s too, even early 00s xD
