    I'd say this is a rather meh episode. Most of my problems with the episode lie in the moral. Not to say it's a bad moral, but the way it was portrayed leads a lot to be desired. So the moral is don't be a jerk with stating your opinions. This is is a fine moral especially in the days where anyone can just state their opinions on the internet willy nilly. However, they treat any sort of harsh way of stating opinions as a bad thing (they do this with Applejack and that other Strawberry pony, who doesn't even get called out on her behavior even it's not different than AJ's). But the thing is, sometimes being harshly blunt can be a good thing. There are many writers who would love their writing to be harshly critiqued so they can find ways to improve. Maybe it's because I'd probably be Applejack in this situation idk. Also, all three of them winning seemed like such a cop-out. But hey, Pinkie was funny in this episode and it was nice to see characters like Photo Finish again.

    So this episode was about Billy Ray Cyrus and Justin Bieber brawling, with the moral being that country music is better than pop music. Oh and a ship became cannon I guess. The episode is hilarious and I had a lot of fun watching it, but parts of it feel really fanficy.

      I haven't seen it yet, but given how the season is only 10 episodes long, and we only 2 episodes left of the series, I really think the show could have used its limited time better than forcing in a rushed romance into it.

    He never died in the first place, he was just hibernating for the Winter. The whole episode wasn't actually about him dying, it was a metaphor for death.

    Typically if I unsub from a Youtube channel, it's because I either get bored of their content or they just stop making content all together. But let me go over the YouTube channels where I do have other reasons for ubsubbing Smosh: I was subbed to their content when I was 13 and thought their videos were the funniest thing ever. As I got older, I discovered channels with way better comedic timing than Smosh and started to grow tired over there "LOUD AND EDGY" humor. Also, the Smosh movie suuuucckkeeed. Lily Peet: I found her content funny and pretty intelligent at points back during mid 2014. However, as I watched more of it, I noticed that she would continuously force her political views in almost every new video even when it's really not necessary. I unsubbed after reading Tumblr long enough to notice most of the things she said were egotistical, elitist, and so biased for the far left, that even sone leftist would crige. So I ubsubbed and sort of ignored her for a bit. Then I caught wind of the drama between her and Joshscorcher and how she abused him and left him over a difference in political views and was just like, "Well good ridance."

    Wow so edgy. Starting a Rarity bashing thread. Seriously, that is the most insulting thing to even call Rarity.

    Not sure if this was mentioned yet, but this is the first episode in a while that doesn't portray the Wonderbolts as assholes in some extension (minus Rarity Investigates but that can be debatable),. It would have been easy for them to laugh or berate Rainbow Dash for having embarrassing parents (which is another trap these kind of plots fall into with the difference being the people berating the person with embarrassing parents are typically children). But the Wonderbolts were pretty mature about it.

    I love how this episode develops Fluttershy, but I don't like how boring this episode is. It plays the plot so basic with the lowest stakes ever. The conflict of the workers doing everything wrong is sort of waved off quickly because her and her friends just build it her way directly after. Maybe if they played up the workers being slightly more antagonistic (as what the mane six say in the ending implied), then it would of been better, but as such, it ends up being middle of the road. It does what it needs to, just not really interesting enough to warrant a second viewing from me.

    The fact that this episode was able to do the embarrassing parents cliche without getting too cringy on the humor (which is a trap this plot commonly falls into), is admirable on its own. Other than that, this episode is an adorable ride that was directly after an episode that was another adorable ride (strange, those both starred a member of the CMC and their 'sister').

    Out of all the youtubers I'm currently subbed to that I would have the hardest time explaining to my friends, it would have to be videogamedunkey.

      I'm subbed to around 40 channels I'd say and I only hit the notification bell on like maybe a fourth to half of them (basically the ones I actually keep up with, and not just watch whenever they post a vid I may actually watch all the way through). Only exception to that rule is chuggaaconroy since he posts daily.

    The first thing that comes to thought is Just for Sidekicks. Spike wants a simple task of making gem food for himself but the pets give him hell for it.

    Honestly, if the commenters get buttmad because "mlp is for little girls" this channel posts about the Power Rangers movie so them freaking out about this while going crazy over a movie I could argue is "for little boys" seems a tad hypocritial.

    Go crazy with analyzing this. Dat art style. It's gonna take some getting used to. I also kind of wished they showed clips from the movie but it's the first teaser. Probably gonna be a more complete one down the road

    This seems fun: I noticed Spogebob's seasonal rot around season 6, when there started to be more of what fans like to call "Squidward torture porns." And unpopular opinion: I wasn't too big on many of the annoy Squidward plots in the early seasons already but these episodes were ten times worse. It's been said many times before, but they punish Squidward without giving a justified reasons. This and the many lackluster specials were pretty much what made me quit (though I've been hearing the recent episodes have shown improvement) Fairly Oddparents was when they added Poof. At first I was okay with these changes due to just being happy about new episodes but as I continued watching, I noticed the episodes weren't as good and the jokes weren't as funny.
