  1. 7/10. The lack of Second Wave of American Tween Melodic Rap Metalcore on this thread is disappointing.
  2. Name: Woke Smeed. This is the internet. Were you expecting me to use my real name? Age: In the 18-25 range. Not going into specifics yet Gender: Male (there's a reason I'm not on Tumblr) Location: Parts Unknown, USA Likes: This'll need to be a longer one. Music - I can listen to just about any kind of music, but I generally dislike pop and country. Rap is something I'm slowly getting into. I've been listening to a lot of classical music recently. When it comes to classical music, I'm more into the stuff that can be played by a few people. Full orchestra's cool and all, but I don't think it's as impressive as having a few people with a lot of talent. My favorite genre of music is easily metal, though. My favorite kind of metal pretty much changes from day to day, but it's generally power, doom, or stoner. My favorite band is probably Sabaton (power metal.) My favorite album is probably Gojira's From Mars To Sirius (groove metal) or Truckfighter's Gravity X (stoner metal. It's also where my current profile picture comes from.) Movies - There isn't really one genre that I'm a big fan of. I can like just about any kind of movie (although I'm not a fan of religious movies or chick flicks.) I've been watching a lot of 80s horror movies recently. The body horror (my favorite kind of horror) from that era is on another level. Movies that confuse me are also fun, like Memento. My favorite series is either Alien or Star Wars (original and prequel. Sequel trilogy isn't looking too good so far.) My favorite directors are Quentin Tarantino and Stanley Kubrick. Video Games - I'm generally into RPGs like Bethesda's Fallout games (I tried playing the first one, but I've never liked isometric games) or Mount And Blade. I'm also into arena shooters like Quake and Unreal Tournament, although I suck at them. My favorite games are Fallout: New Vegas and Sid Meier's Civilization V. Anime and Cartoons - I don't have a preference over either. Starting off with anime, I'm casually into them and don't really have a preference of genres (although I've never been a fan of harem anime.) My favorite anime would be either One Punch Man, or Cowboy Bebop. As for cartoons, I'm more into stuff from my childhood (mostly because I haven't been able to watch a lot of newer shows.) Stuff like Ed, Edd, n Eddy and Courage The Cowardly Dog are my favorites. Dislikes: Elitists, assholes, throwing up, overly emotional people, people annoying me when I'm doing stuff, being betrayed. Hobbies: Writing and things relating to my username Other Info: Since it'll come up, my religion is somewhere between atheist and agnostic deist. I'm also not an outgoing guy, so don't expect me to send you a PM. If you want to talk to me, or have a question about anything, shoot me a PM.
  3. It's definitely a town. If you include the two nearest towns, the population is about 40,000 people (one of which has about 35,000 people, and it's only a different town because it's in a different state.) It's not the smallest place I've lived, though. I've lived in two different places with about a dozen people in them (those would clearly be cities.)
  4. 7/10. It's a bit outside of my tastes, but it's still enjoyable.
  5. 8/10. It's great, but too short.
  6. I'm a nihilist and an atheist, so I don't think there's any sort of afterlife. That's only because I haven't seen any good evidence to the contrary. I mean, I've heard of near death experiences and that people claim to be in heaven or whatever. Maybe that just means that the mind hallucinates just before death. I'd call it an afterlife of sorts, but it probably ends. I'm not saying "nothing" because I don't want an afterlife. Eternal oblivion and the cessation of existence is probably my biggest fear. The human mind can't even comprehend the concept of pure nothingness, let alone experiencing it.
  7. 9/10. S&M was great and One's my favorite Metallica song. I still prefer the studio version, though.
  8. 10/10. Easily my favorite Alestorm song.
  9. 8/10. Something, something, CM Punk.
  10. 9/10. I'll admit that a big part of that comes from the fact that I can hear the bass.
  11. 7/10. Pretty simple for a power metal song, but Freedom Call can make even a simple song sound good.
  12. 7/10. It's a bit outside my tastes, but it's not bad. If it had more variation to it, I'd probably enjoy it more. And, since it's the Fourth of July, here's this.
  13. 8/10. I need to listen to more Savatage.
  14. I certainly wouldn't give it no damn tree fiddy. I did once about seven, eight years ago, and that crustacean hasn't left me alone since. To be serious, I'd try to take as many pictures or videos as I could from as many angles as possible. It's pretty easy to fake something from one angle, but doing it from several would be time consuming, and I'm not patient enough to do that. After that, I'd release the images/videos to the public, ignore when they call me a liar, and wait for them to realize that it would be a waste of time and logic for somebody that has very little experience in digital editing to digitally edit several pictures and videos from various angles to show a creature. Then they'd likely go on a hunt for her and find her. Hopefully, I wouldn't get screwed out of the potential credit and money for that.
  15. 9/10. Sounds like a mix of Blind Guardian and Iced Earth (after some research, it actually is.)
  16. John Carpenter's The Thing. Scariest movie I've ever seen, hands down. The special effects are amazing, especially for its time.
  17. 7/10. Not too into the vocals. I think the tempo could be a bit faster, too. This isn't a complaint, but it kinda sounds like a live recording.
  18. 9/10. One of my favorite Ghost songs.
  19. 6/10. It's technical, but too repetitive for me. If it had vocals or a solo I'd be more into it.
