  1. Banned for even implying I have eyes. I don't need them as I got my sixth sense to act pretty much the same way as eyes. Why see for real when I can feel?
  2. If we get rid of all diseases does it really mean we'd get rid of all diseases? Because of biological warfare and nuclear weapons, we have man-made diseases that will birth anew the original natural diseases. So, I don't think it would help all that much getting rid of 'all' diseases in the long run as we humans will find ways to torture each other or anything in the most mind-boggling ways imaginable. Human nature is fickle and unpredictable, so where there's a will, there's a way.
  3. Banned for promoting evil laughs as best laughs. That title goes to creepy crown laughs like Ronald McDonald.
  4. @Count Werdowp Banned for being aquaphilic. My final say for now, You all are banned for even trying to imply there was a 'premise' to this thread when all we do everyday in this thread is ban people for stupid reasons.
  5. @meme Meme Banned for being a confidant meme. @Duality Banned for giving people aquaphobia.
  6. Banned saying ban two times to you too. @meme Banned for being a nice meme.
  7. Banned for using the word Meme as a means to ban others.
  8. Banned because you're a meme thus defying logic all around.
  9. You all are banned for not pondering hard enough.
  10. I feel relieved and redeemed after having to take responsibilities for my mistakes and screw-ups. Being ignorant, stupid and careless can get you in big trouble you know. (duh dude everyone knows that ). Can't find a roll eyes pony emoji so I'll just stick with unamused Rarity emoji.
  11. I see your line of reasoning, and respect it perfectly well. I've seen many Zelda fans that would go out of their way to define the franchise just as much of an RPG like the aforementioned titles I mentioned. So, in perspective the way how I've come to understand RPGs is this, "If I can't kill the same enemy over and over again to accumulate experience to get strong in the most repetitive and mundane fashion then its not an RPG". Granted its an incredibly one-sided way of looking at it, but that's how I've seen most RPGs function in this way. It may be one RPG element, but its such a crucial difference that a lot of fans from both sides overlook when discussing this legendary video game debate. However, Zelda is so fundamentally different from RPGs that it crushes the terminology and bends it sideways making the terminology pretty much archaic and useless. The enemies are for the most part obstacles that Link must overcome throughout his adventure. Deep down it's more of an Adventure-Puzzle game to me that has stood the test of time. That might explain the initial confusion as if its an illusion in the game where it makes you want to think Link is getting strong, but he collected an item to get strong. It's quite alluring and elusive if you think about it.
  12. For an RPG enthusiast such as myself, I say nay. However, I understand the reason for why Zelda fans love to debate to RPG fans about this. Because Zelda challenged the definition of what an RPG is defined by looking at the legacy of DnD, Ultima, Final Fantasy, and Dragon Quest. Based on what I've come to understand, Link cannot get strong by killing enemies. He can kill the same enemy, but will NEVER get strong unless you're playing Zelda 2 which is already a black sheep among the franchise. With RPGs like Dragon Quest 1 for example, I can kill the same slime enemy (1 EXP and 1 Gold) and will eventually get strong. Yes it's repetitive and incredibly time consuming, but that's the idea behind what RPGs generally have the inevitable problem. The Repetition. Theoretically, through level grinding, RPGs incite a repetitive way to make your characters strong. This is not the case at all with the majority of the Zelda series as they involve Link collecting items and powerups to make him strong. So technically, the removal of level grinding is what mystifies me about Zelda as its more about the adventure and making progress throughout the game solving various puzzles to make Link strong. You have to progress throughout the game via collecting items to make Link strong, which is definitely NOT the case at all for RPGs since you can fight the first enemy you encounter and ONLY that first enemy to level grind and get strong in the most repetitive, mind numbing, torturous way possible. If Zelda fans are still persisting to classify it as an RPG, then I say classify it as 'Zelda' because Zelda is not an RPG... it's Zelda. Or that the term RPG has been finally challenged and is no longer applicable anymore. So a new terminology has to be concocted to define these genres on a respectable manner.
  13. Alright, let's Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney this st cause this is fun and I want people to have FUN with this one unlike my last topic. HOLD IT!!! Claiming that an action with zero intention as an accident is such a cop-out move. Surely, there must be a reason for why this action still occurred despite being an accident. Can the lack of awareness thus leading the person towards being careless, be considered an intention? Yes I am among those who's guilty to maintain a firm belief that "Everything happens for a Reason" so surely there must be a reason for such a mysterious phenomenon like this.
  14. I've been thinking long and hard on this one. Since I'm making up for the sheer stupidity of the previous topic I posted, I need to post this since this is relevant to my interest and hopefully will encourage a thought provoking philosophical discussion from differing perspectives. It is an undeniable reality that Actions speak louder than words, but words do convey a sense of intention and what I've come to learn throughout my past. So to me, intentions mean everything. It is the driving force that causes your actions to occur so to me it screams the loudest. Without intentions, what would your actions be? Can an action be done with zero intention? Possibly, but consider me a skeptic since there will still be a sliver of intention that must've caused that action to be done in the first place. That's just how I come to perceive, but I would like to see some thought provoking discussion from differing sides for which screams the loudest.
  15. This might be a bit embarrassing to admit on my part since now I realized what the term Waifu means, I kinda have something like that. I used to have a crush towards the fictional character Kyanna from a very risque game called HuniePop. I don't like HuniePop nor HunieCam Studio for what the creators have done to Kyanna in that game, but man... Kyanna is so a Waifu material for me. Too bad she's not real and it doesn't matter cause I got over it since I realized it will only make the void feeling even worse on my end. If you truly love something or someone be they fictional or real, set them free so they can live their own lives, make their own decisions and be happy. Let them decide if they truly love you.
  16. Kyoshi, I agree with you 100% on the matter with Undertale. ProJared put it best, showing mercy to the monsters is no different of a mechanic than killing them in the long run. At least with killing monsters it makes sense though repetitive, but the repetition of sparing monsters in Undertale really doesn't make sense. I just spared the monster a second ago, only for the same monster to appear through Random Battles and bullet hell the fk outta me. Would make a lot more sense sparing enemies if there was just a little bit more variety to them. Most of the monsters are jerks who all want a piece of the main hero. Why should I show mercy to them anyway if they display such sentience and free will to begin with? I get it, its a video game and you need to make it fun, but this isn't how I would do it. I just wish there was more emphasis on the sparing mechanic where I get to have conversations with monsters and get to know about their backstory like in any RPG. But, with Undertale you have to piece the meta-narrative of the story to make any sense out of this, otherwise remove the meta narrative aspect of the game and all you get is a bland mediocre bullet hell game trying so hard to prove how its a deconstruction of a typical RPG and even in that sense it fails because of the sparing mechanic acting the same way as killing enemies. So really what exactly is the point? That RPGs have changed and its no longer the good old DnD, Final Fantasy, and Dragon Quest days? Whoopdie doo, Zelda is already challenging the definition of RPG alongside Metroid so I don't get what the author is trying to accomplish with Undertale. It's just that Undertale has this sense of arrogance where I cannot begin to stand this game judging my every decision I put in this game. Who does this game think it is? God? Cause I already am being judged IRL thank you very much. I don't play games just so it can start judging my every decision. You may perceive your opinion as worthless, but to me it meant something so if you still persist to beat yourself down for no good reason then that's your decision and I've been there done that a long time ago. Just don't want other people to make the same mistake as me y'know? However, I understood your opinion and respect it since I'm an RPG enthusiast like ProJared.
  17. Why? I wish I knew. Other than losing my mind, I guess one of the reason might be that I'm bored and just wanted to see if any of you are willing to draw this pony I described in details. I've seen some of the fandom's artworks and most of them seem alright I suppose, but I want to see if I can push your artistic capability to see if you can draw my OC. It's called 'The Ishmaelite Stallion'. I'll get good at drawing someday since I'm not that good at it. Also my curiosity peaks for how talented you people truly are. Not so sure if anyone has done a design quite like this so it definitely will test your skills to draw my OC. The details are all in this link I posted a day ago in the RolePlay Characters Section. Interested in this challenge?
  18. Although I'm not exactly a fan of the show as many of you are I did have the nerve to watch the teaser trailer of MLP: FIM's 2017 movie. It does seem promising at the very least just like how the Power-puff Girls movie was promising which did not disappoint me. So, I'm just hoping and wishing this movie doesn't end up being disappointing in the same light as the Power Puff Girls movie. At least its not another Equestria Girls movie . Fk that franchise.
  19. Uhh, I'm just stating an unpopular opinion, but I see your point of why I'm being ignorant about Rainbow Dash so let me elaborate further about her as a character kind sir/mam. She is the catalyst that started the foundation of the Mane 6 characters of the show during their time as fillies. It was mentioned in an episode I forgot where she's in her filly and performed her Sonic Rainboom. That Rainboom occurred at the same time the other 5 fillies along with Dash have earned their Cutie Marks. Either way it doesn't matter how good her character development may be to me because by the end of the day, she is an arrogant jock with a heart of gold type of character. I hate those type of characters anyway. Your passive aggressive attitude of Dash makes me appreciate the Mysterious Mare Do Well episode even more.
  20. Perhaps the world we live in nowadays has become much easier for everyone to commit acts of hypocrisy because of lacking awareness due to too much things to handle all at once due to the effects of globalization which would incite many to be justified in their position to remain ignorant and uninformed rather than be egotistical and misinformed. I'm willing to believe that this was not the case during the Ancient times where people would value moral codes that would incite many to be sincere with both their actions and intentions for the sole purpose of survival. Plus, they still lived in tribes and nations to easily identify each other. Nowadays, things have become complex. So, I cannot begin to imagine how difficult it must've been for a hypocrite in the Dark Ages to thrive. Either way it doesn't matter, cause to me a hypocrite will always be a person pretending to be good on the outside but on the inside he's evil and he knows it. A Pretender of being Just that is.
  21. Believe it or not, I actually TRIED to guess the personalities correct without looking anything up. C'mon I should've gotten at least one of them right. So I am not too familiar with the Harvest Moon series. Tried playing the SNES version of Harvest Moon, got bored with it for 10 minutes. However, I've seen gameplay videos of its Spiritual Successor Stardew Valley on Steam which is very good. I may wanna get that though I'm not too sure if Steam is good to begin with so consider me skeptical.
  22. Quick question. What's a Waifu? Something that's supposed to fill you in with all that void feelings of loneliness? But, having a Waifu is gonna make that void feeling worse. Anyway, nah most of them seem a little too underage for my taste. But hey, I'll pick what kind of Wife would I want to have in the future. An Egghead. I'll just try to see if I can get your personalities for the bachelorettes right there K. Rool Addict: Mary (Nurse) Popuri (Booze Hound) Ann (Mentally Challenged) Karen (Egghead) Elli (Waitress)
  23. Also, people want to ship gay couples because fk logic and embrace the implausible romance/attraction/lust that I highly doubt is going to benefit humanity in anyway possible from an evolutionary perspective. But hey, love is love and that feels good. That's all that matters right? Perhaps, but I want to marry and have a child that I made out of my own sn y'know? I would be fine establishing this thing I would like to call a "Bro Bond" where I maintain a relationship to the same sex in a platonic sense. I'm spoiling it darkwingmare because I question your logic for putting a spoiler tag. So this seemingly mare known as Pear Butter is your favorite character next to Applejack? Cool story.
