  1. What's the deal with the scented 35th anniversary ponies? I purchased a Windy as a gift and one for myself, just a couple days ago at target for $9.99. I loved it so much I went back to target today and they were sold out. They sold out on target.com as well. I see them on other sites for 3 times the price. Are they a hot item now? Will they be available again after the holiday is over? I LOVE the one I have and want so badly to buy them all...

  2. I love marshmello, kill the noise, Snails, Jauz, San Holo, Datsik, excision, gramatic, party favor, knife party, Ganja white knight, pretty lights, zeds dead. Mostly heavy bass laser fed dance music. I go to a lot of festivals and club raves. Not a bass nectar fan though. I've seen him live many times, he's just a bit repetitive for my taste and attracts a lot of broskis.

It's stupid. Why have genders when we're just gonna mix and match. It doesn't make sense. How is a kid even supposed to make a reasonable decision on whether or not he/she wants to transition if they haven't even established a mature mind yet. Why is it that after about 200,000 years of humans inhabiting this Earth, it's only now that we want to start screwing with biology?

Do you think modern gender norms or structures have existed across all human society? Because they definitely have not. You are confusing cultural standards with biology. Women in Saudi Arabia are not Allowed to drive, this is not because of biology it is because of cultural standards. If a women has the urge to be a leader, to work hard, to stand up for herself, and you get it the way of it then you are screwing with biology. Complex human society needs variation to be successful. When you trample individuality just to uphold standards that make you comfortable, do you even consider the victims of your thinking? You're really just trying to force other people to be like you, but have you even considered why?

  4. They would think I was really cool, we would be best friends and they would give me fashion tips and a discount on merchandise.  Maybe we would do a song together, one about friendship. They wouldn't even think it was weird that I have a shelf full of dolls of them.:pinkie:

  5. I think Twilight Sparkle is the most individualist character. She has a tendency to be off by herself studying. She can easily forget about others in  the persuit of her own interests. Her individualist nature has granted her great power through her study of magic, and she is well respected.  On the other side of that coin though, she is at her best when the other ponies drag her out of her library/castle, and give her a place in the community. So I don't think the show is anti-individualist, I think it's more about building a community of individuals, which is core diversity, and honoring the ways that each individuals talents shine, both in their own lives, and for the purpose of the greater good. Mind you, I believe in individualism myself, and the show does not clash with me at all.

It wouldn't make sense if they were, seeing as MLP goes against many conservative values and beliefs.

You don't remember the episode where Big Mack dressed like a girl to enter the talent show with his little sister? He got beaten up by a bunch of ponies in Klan hoods yelling "Make equestria great again!".  I didn't like that one either. What about the one where they invade Yak-Yakistan based on bad information but then stay there for 14 years anyway, because it's better then admitting that they made a mistake. Also not one of my favorites.

  7. Rick and Morty, Mlp Fim, Castlevania,  aquateen hunger force, Dragonball, Sailor Moon, Rokos modern life ren and stimpy, invader zim, Assassination class room, pokemon, adventure time, gravity falls, X-men the animated series, Looney Toons. I used to like south park but it stopped being funny a few years ago. I find topical humor to be largely uncreative.

The whole series taken together? Probably in the 8/10 ballpark. It isn't my favorite animated show, and it's far from my favorite show in general, but it's solid as Tom and it scratches that itch for genuine optimism in a cartoon.

That wasn't directed at me, but my favorites are Inner Light, BoBW part 1, Chain of Command (1 & 2), and Measure of a Man. The episode you mentioned was really decent as well.

Chain Of Command is a super tense episode. One of the darkest ones I think. I love Warf, and any episode where he does stuff. He is both frightening and hilarious.

'The Inner Light' was clearly the best Episode of TNG, followed closely by 'All Good Things'.

I don't know pony. I like the last season probably the least. I love the episode where they first meet the ferengi, and the one where the parasitic mind worms try to take over the federation. I thought the earlier seasons where more hard syfy, and the later ones had more of an emotional fantasy element attached. It's all good though, because it's one of the best shows ever made.

I still think several shows are better, like Steven Universe, Invader Zim, and Star Trek: the Next Generation.

What's your fave episode of TNG? Mine is "a matter of honor", the one where Riker serves on a Klingon ship. I love TNG, ENT, TOS, and to a lesser extent DS9.

  11. People hate positivity. They are miserable and they need other people to be unhappy in-order to justify their misery. If MLP was a show like TWD, where everything is about rape and torture and violence, then they would applaud you for liking it. But it is a show about love, tolerance, friendship, empathy, and community, so they will attack you for liking it. The more resistance you get from other people these days, the more you know that what you are doing is right.

  12. I would give it a 9/10, it's My third favorite show after Rick and Morty, and Dragonball super. I love how positive the show is. Almost every bad guy becomes a friend, almost every problem becomes a learning opportunity. I first came to the show because I was depressed and wanted to watch entertaining material with no violence or negativity, and it was perfect. I've seen every episode a couple times now. I watch at least one a day. Some of my favorite episodes are "too many Pinkies", "P.P.O.V.", and "putting your hoof down". If there was anything I'd like to see more of it's goofy humor, but the show has a good balance I think.

exactly, to see those elements in daily life is a Rarity!

Especially kindness and honesty. But there is plenty of laughter these days, people love to laugh at the suffering of other people. Most people are awful, they hate MLP because it is not negative or depressing. They want you watching the walking dead where every single problem is solved by white males shooting each other. I guess that's more realistic or something.

true, meanwhile society is crumbling, us bronies wait, for someday, that we could PROVE rather than feel that Equestria is real, when  if we end up getting invited to Equestria

Wow that's like, some heavens gate stuff. Keep your purple nikes tied tight there pony. For me it's more about the magic of friendship. I am constantly mentioning the magic of friendship and people never know what I'm talking about. The elements of harmony also are important.

  15. David Icke once said that society is like a prison where the guards are just other prisoners. When you find some form of escape, or a door that leads to happiness, all the other prisoners rush up to stop you. How can they justify their own captivity if anyone else in the world is free? MLP is definitely a form of escape.

  16. Possible yes, but I think it would make a better RPG than a shooter. The books have a lot of action but they aren't action books, per se. A final fantasy/chrono trigger style would work good considering all the environments, and all the exposition, and the different abilities and attributes of the different characters. Maybe something similar to Cosmic Star Heroine.

  17. I don't mind skin deep DLC, like in Friday the 13th or sonic forces, but when DLC effects game play it ruins the game. Look at some of the DLC weapons in FF15. If you could just pay $4 for a super weapon at the beginning of FF7 it would not have been a beautiful epic experience, it would be a cash grab. I

So I've seen him on twiter and I noticed he likes some 'questionable tweets', some which involve criticism of leftist and on instagram, he follows a website called conservativecanucks, which seems pretty bigoted. I'd be lying if I said this didn't bother me as a minority, things like that are extremely harmful towards various minority groups and reek of bigotry and seeing as somehow, he's viewed as a cast member, it's kind of disheartening.

I used to love reggae music, but when I started interacting with rastsa's I realized that they are just homophobic racist sexist trans-phobic Christians. This completely soured me on reggae for ever, Bob Marley albums in the garbage, no more eek-a-mouse ever. If you try and play that junk in my car your ass will be on the side of the road. So I can relate to your problem for sure, but remember MLP FIM is a collaboration between many people, it's not just the expression of one person, especially such a minor contributor who plays no part in the shows artistic or philosophical vision.

I love Star Trek, though I mostly watch DS9 but I've been slowly working my way through TNG since I haven't actually sat down and watched the seasons in a while.  Also, Godless on Netflix is pretty cool, I totally recommend that.  I don't really watch much Live action besides that.

Ds9 is the silmarillion of the trek world. It's the best place to lsearn about the extended lore, but it is also somewhat unpleasant to consume. I did watch all of it though, the episode where captain Cisco is a 1950's mental patient is so bad. I do love the episode where Worf takes on Gowran. Gowran is my favorite Klingon ever. I also love the Gem Hadar. Do you like enterprise?
