  1. Ah, well if it comes to the forums, I don't know what I'm known for on here. I draw and sometimes post it, but the artwork doesn't seem to be that popular despite positive feedback. *taps chin* I'm the known Mortician here, and that's about it.

As for overall, like people I know personally? I'm known for my confidence, courage, ambition, love of men, my gay erotica in both art and writing. I'm also the creepy, yet somehow upbeat dead guy poker, and resident brony. But I'm also known and respected for my grief counselling, my magick work in spells and protection, and I am often called upon by friends to dispel spirits or any negative energies. I'm the borderline idiot that will walk into a dark room or hallway, haunted or supposed first because I don't have a fear of the unknown, spirits, monsters or death.

    Nothing. Absolutely nothing.

Plus Halloween is creepy IMO just through sheer concept alone. Kids going in strangers doors and asking them to be tricked or treat while dressed up as ungodly abominations and supernatural creatures. This doesn’t bode well with anyone on the receiving end.

Well it comes down to the origins of Halloween. See, as a Pagan holiday (Samhain), originally since this time of the year is considered to be the time where the veil between the living and the dead is it's thinnest. So spirits can pass through, good and bad. You dressed up so the bad spirits didn't recognise you and give you bad luck for the rest of the year. The idea of candy came from the sense of offerings to the spirits. We Pagans today still set food out as offerings for wandering spirits. And the jack-o-lantern actually used to be a turnip, but graduated to pumpkin over the years and was used as a "lantern" to light the way for spirits. Everything has it's roots, and while that may still seem 'creepy' and I'm by no means trying to change your opinion, the "spirit" of the holiday is simply that, spirits. And just taking precautionary measures to ensure good spirits visit and bring luck and the bad spirits pass over you.

I personally plan on going to one party, and then taking some food for offerings out to the local cemeteries and just have a few quiet moments relaxing and meditating in the dark. Also around this time of year I like to send prayers and blessings via my altar.

I love collecting various toys, figurines and statues. I have a sizable amount of Nightmare before Christmas stuff due to my over pouring love for the movie. I also have collected a lot of Sunset shimmer merch as well, since she is my favorite pony. :)

I collect Lion King merchandise, as it is my favourite Disney movie, as well as Coco. I also collect anything with dragons, skulls/skeletons/death (obvious reasons are obvious) and I actually have a Lord of the Rings/Hobbit obsession and currently own multiple copies of "The Hobbit" because I just love the story so much.

  4. Understood, but if he would have said yes, I'm sure he could have linked me to his post instead of me searching through the hundreds of posts to find his particular one. Just a thought. Only trying to make it easier. But, noted. Thank you.

  5. Growing up in the 90's there's a lot of shows that I really like more than MLP, and it would take too much time to list them here, but basically the 90's Nick and CN lineup in a nutshell.
As for cartoons I enjoy now that I like more than MLP (and I won't include Anime since that's a MUCH LONGER LIST), but the first one that comes to mind is BoJack Horseman. I am all about that, it's freakin' great.

I remember watching that show a long time ago. One episode that I do remember is the one where a zombie-like creature existed in a swimming pool.

Even now, I can still remember bits of it including what became of the creature. I shudder at the very thought of it.

    That's the one I was referencing ^__^ That's Dead Man's Float

  7. Oh wow I miss this show!! I grew up watching it and it was one of my favourites!
I would have to say one of my favourite episodes has to be "Dead Man's Float", it used to creep me out back when I was younger, but that's what made it so great! I love the creature and it is what ignited even more love of skeletons and the dead for me!

I also used to really enjoy the movie "The Silver Sight." No one else seems to remember this, so for the longest time I thought I'd dreamed it, but I found it and proved everyone wrong! Ha ha! XD

  8. Oh of course I do! I'm Pagan, so we celebrate Samhain every year, obviously! My brother is also Mexican so we celebrate Dia de los Muertos as well! Autumn is my second favourite season with Summer being my first!
EDIT: You got to it before I did! We plan on doing our ceremonies and prayers, and probably going out to give offerings to the local spirits at cemeteries.

Do you know of, or have ever watched Gundam Wing? And if so, who's your favourite character/Gundam?

  9. I used to ride horses professionally in competition.
I did things such as walk, trot, and canter. We were judged on our skills in posture, posting, appearance and handling of the horse and his performance as well. I don't want to brag, but I will say that in my years of doing this I never once got below 4th place. I have a handful of blue ribbons to my credit. In fact, I was quite skilled and am wanting to get back into the scene. Thankfully we moved to Ballston Spa, NY which is next to Saratoga which is a horse community town.

Here is an example of what I did:

(note this is not a video of me, as I don't have any of that on this computer, but here ya go)

  10. Fall is one of my favourite times of year, and I enjoy pumpkin pie (pumpkin flavoured anything, really), hot apple cider and caramel apples. I like to curl up with my husband in front of our fire and either read or watch a movie, a thick heavy blanket and hot tea. If not tea, it's a spiked hot cider. I also really enjoy a simple, calm drive out to the parks to see the colours of the leaves and pick up coffee on our way so we can enjoy it as we walk down the leaf strewn paths.

Winter I'm not particularly fond of, but I'd say all the above except going out. >< Gets way too cold for my southern butt.
