i read the book, first, so it doesn't really compare! i liked it, though. while i do recommend reading it, someone who hasn't would probably really enjoy the show :3 the show is lighthearted at times, gritty other times. it doesn't downplay the cultural differences between japan and the rest of the world at the time, either, which i feel adds to it ^~^

i watched the last episode of shogun today :3 it's a historic fiction adaptation of the early Edo period of Japan in 1600. it follows John Blackthorne, who is loosely based off of William Adams, the first Englishman to reach Japan uwu

my recent odd music obsession has been lemon candy by chara :3
which is funny, bc, it's not generally the kinda stuff i listen to (although i guess i do kinda listen to a lot of stuff >w<) but it's funky and yaaaaaaaas x3

about to get back into warframe :3 but i'm also on and off captivated by random indie games >w< oH!!! also fallout 4, been playing that a bit too uwu i also have plans to play divinity original sin 2 with a friend on wednesday!!!! ^~^

i really like the way you draw ponies :3 her colors are nice, i like the subtle, dusty purple/lavender for her coat. the mane is a sharp contrast but i think it works well ^~^ i'm not the best artist so i can only say what i like about it. if i had to say anything it'd be how her hips/belly(?) kinda narrow out to an unnatural level? but im pretty sure it's stylistic, and it kinda works with the rest of the look :3

she looks awesome!!

omg! she's cute ^~^ i like the third far right one the most, personally :3 it's subtle and it looks natural. maybe try to recreate it on pony town? you'd be able to give her accessories to see what compliments her look!!

i feel giggly. idk what it is about it being the middle of the night and finding something mundane to chortle at, but here we are anyway uwu. i also have a small case of tummy hurty >w< probably nothing though, it is what it is :3
