Well we went and picked up the Savannah cat today. She’s cute! A little scared and stuff right now as expected, but has a deep rumbly pur when pet.
Turns out the owner didn’t die like I originally thought, she got sent to a nursing home, and the son didn’t want to deal with the cat. Still seems crazy to me to just give away a cat you paid $2,500 for, but we’ll take good care of her here.

Im 28 now. Nothing special about that other than the fact I’ve felt like I’ve been 27 for eons now considering how the past year has been and it started around the time of my last birthday. Also feels nice to be an even number again.

We might be getting a free cat. My mom’s friend’s friend passed away and had a Savannah cat and they’re trying to find someone to take care of it, so looks like we might.

How do I think I’ll die? Probably either Old age, my own hand, or a plane crash. That was in order from most likely to least. How do I want to die? A hero. Whether it’s to one person or many, I want to die in the process of saving someone.

The house I’m staying at on the beach has a room with a bunk bed, and of course I get volunteered to be the one to sleep in it. Now sometimes when I get up in the middle of the night I forget, and bump my head on the top bunk as I’m getting out.
I could solve that by getting on the top bunk, but I don’t like climbing up, lol.
The positive is that getting KO’d makes it easy to go to sleep.

Desktop is 3 months old and my laptop is like 2 years old

Today was interesting. Customer came in and said we needed to check the front door cause it was going to fall any day now. So I did, and what do you know. I open it, and it falls out. I caught it though fortunately lol.
Also our airport fire operations got a new firetruck recently. They were outside training on it today, so since it was slow I just went to go watch out of curiosity. They ended up letting me spray the hose. It was really cool. You could control which way to shoot the water with a joystick inside the truck and stuff. I felt like a little kid playing with a toy

Well today was interesting. Was at work, then noticed like 30 police cars, 4 ambulances, and a fire truck screech into the parking lot of a building down the road from where I work. I was like “You have got to be frikin kidding me. No way this is happening in my town, much less so close to where I work!”
But just ended up being someone calling in that there were shots fired in the building for some odd reason. (Probably something that sounded like a gun). I guess everyone’s on edge cause of recent events.
Also tomorrow is going to be interesting, as well.
I got lucky last week. Most of the tornadoes happened farther southeast than they expected. Hopefully I get lucky again. Or maybe certain weather ponies will look out for me.

I know I have a relative (can't remember how I'm related) that served as a confederate in the American Civil War and was captured in Gettysburg, and survived the rest of the war as a POW. My granduncle served in WWII, and my grandfather was also in the military during WWII, but he was allowed to go to medical school before they were going to deploy him, and when he finished medical school the war ended. That's all I know of. Edit: Remembered I also have a cousin who was a helicopter pilot in Vietnam, and was killed in a midair collision while there.

Good morning guys.
I woke up to see that my area has now been upgraded to an extreme risk for tornadoes today. This is a bit worse than our average spring risks. They don’t give chances this high unless they are very confident, and we haven’t had a risk this high in 7 years, and it got bad then.
Gonna be a long day for me, and night as it’s lasting into the night.

Hey guys.
I just had to clean our storm cellar so my parents don’t have to cozy up with the spiders if they have to get in it tomorrow, lol.
Unfortunately I’ll be at work tomorrow during the bad weather, and I don’t exactly like being at work especially with the strength of tornadoes they’re predicting are possible tomorrow. Especially since some part of the airport I work at almost always gets hit by em when we get em. Though we do have a staircase made of solid steel and reinforced walls to get in at least, but I don’t trust it like I would a storm shelter.
Typical spring for us.Hope everyone is having a swell day!

But actually it wasn’t that bad this year. Didn’t have as many spiders this year as it did last year. Just really needed a sweeping.
