It was no problem at all. I don't agree with everything the creators did, but it could have been way worse. The episodes are enjoyable in any case, so whatever. I definitely have seen franchises doing way worse things. So it was actually in my interest. Everything I have gotten until the end can't be ruined anymore and now I can peacefully enjoy it for the rest of my life.

I would say the way she was in her first appearance is unique to her and can't be compared with the other griffons. I mean the griffons are not very friendly, only care about cash and prefer to be alone. But Gilda is the only griffon bully, she was the only one who went out of her way to be really ugly towards the characters, our ponies.

Hate is a strong word, I definitely don't feel this way towards her. But she is one of the very few characters of the entire show I don't like or care about.

The very first episode. I watched it in the correct order as well and it was the best choice.

I hate to read stories in general, so the site is definitely not for me. I only write my own stories, this way everything is the way I want it and I can follow my heart. It's not possible otherwise.

Twilight Sparkle doesn't have a school. she only has some random students she teaches about friendship on the side, in her castle. Her castle is huge, there is a room for it.

Celestia offers Twilight to become the ruler, but it was actually just a test, to prove her loyalty towards her friends. Twilight declines the offer after all and makes Celestia very proud. She stays in Ponyville, Celestia retires, after 1,000 years of ruling the land, she really is looking forward to finally have some time to herself, in tranquility and peace. And finally, Luna becomes the queen of Equestria.
Luna was frozen in time and didn't age, because she was magically captured in the moon, that's why she is smaller than Celestia. It is obvious since the very beginning of episode 1, that she wants to be more loved and appreciated by the pony folk. And yet, they were sleeping when she created those wonderful nights. She still has the 1,000 years ahead of her, 1,000 years Celestia has already experienced and 1,000 years where Celestia was the ruler. Her time has finally come now. She has absolutely zero reason to retire as well.

I have two different possibilities how this will happen. Celestia is too old and will die soon. This could have been a bittersweet end and they could have finally shown someone die in the show. Well, besides the animals Fluttershy canonically sacrifices and other smaller deaths. Or someone who is not a villain.
Possibility two is harmless. Celestia would just retire normally. Since they are sisters and can't have secrets from one another, she notices that Luna still wishes to be loved more. And she decides that it is Luna's turn now.

This would have been the perfect ending. The book opened with Celestia and Luna's story. And after 9 or 10 seasons, the book will finally close after Luna becomes the ruler/queen.
And we know Luna struggled to keep her smile in front of others. They could have used some episodes which would show how she learns to be a proper ruler and everything. And it would be fulfilling to her, since this is what she always wanted. Hasbro could have even used this idea to make more toys. They could even have made a new version of Canterlot Castle, with Luna's colors or something that represents the night.
Twilight stays with her friends in ponyville and in her castle. She is busy enough with friendship matters and quests, this is what she is meant to do. There is no time to rule a kingdom and to do the friendship stuff. What Hasbro's authors did was unnecessarily horrible and devastating for the Mane 6. And so many other flaws. Everything was already there, they could have easily created a so much better story. When even I, a no one, can easily come up with something simple as this, I have to seriously ask: What did they smoke?

It wouldn't make sense. The show is called My Little Pony and not My Little Yak Hippogriff Dragon Griffon Changeling Pony.

Starlight's biggest fear was to simply lose a friend or friends again. Twilight and the others stopped her without knowing why she did what she did in the first place. Starlight never meant to harm anypony, only when she chose the path of revenge, after she lost the village. Twilight offered her friendship after she finally heard what Starlight truly feels and went through. And I can't see why they shouldn't become friends. Twilight is a kind soul, the princess of friendship, she cares about everypony. She simply offered her friendship to Starlight and made her biggest wish come true.

Rarity is the most mature of the group, but I believe that Fluttershy is the oldest. I will quickly borrow the images from above.

She doesn't look like a pony like Sassy Saddles or Fleur de Lis now, as an adult. No unique size or shape. Not even in the finale. That's why I say that the ponies will just look like this at that age. If I'm correct, she is definitely the oldest. She is one year older than Pinkie Pie, but it should be pretty similar when it comes to the others.

This actually leads to another problem, the notifications themselves are not very intuitive. I'll explain.

So, the bell at the top only shows the last 25 notifications. Then I have to click on "View all notifications" in the same window to view the rest. But as soon as I do this, all of the messages there will become greyed out. The first page there also only shows the last 25 messages. (I just counted them, it doesn't show a number unfortunately.) So I have to waste time to click on the next pages. Next problem? They are all greyed out too and I have absolutely no idea where to even start now. It is time-wasting, because I have to look through and read some older messages as well and check if I already read them or not.

This actually makes me not want to receive many notifications. I already turned off some settings. I want to have a fun and relaxing time, I don't wanna do the math every day and count the messages to know where to even start. But I have to when I don't wanna miss out on something. There could be an important notification right in the midst of it. It really shouldn't be greyed just like that, I want it to be greyed out only after I clicked on an individual notification and checked what it was about. This would also help so much.

The ability to turn off reaction notifications would help too. This would also reduce the notifcations by a lot. I like reactions, don't get me wrong. But I find the notifications for them pointless for the following reason: The notification window doesn't show which reaction exactly was given and I'm not going to check out every single message individually. That's why I would prefer to not have notifcations for them at all. They are more or less pointless the way they are now.

Currently, when I look through the notifcations, I have to look very closely and pay attention. "replied to" and "reacted to" are very similar looking words, it really does add to the confusion.

I could sift through them, yes, but I'm worried to miss something important between all the "unimportant" ones. I mean I have to live with it anyway, with the way things are. And unfortunately, when some of the other notification settings also get fused together, it will make things even worse.

But now we talked about it and I understand things better. I will just turn it off and let people know to just mention me. "Solved".  Then it leaves only the confusing reaction notifications between important ones. I have streams for everything, so I won't miss anything important anyway.
Hey, you know what would be cool? An extra bell & window for the reaction notifications! Okay, okay, I stop now, haha.

I have to say I really love the forum software, its design and everything. It was definitely a good choice for this forum, I never enjoyed any other forum this much. Especially in 2020. I remember we already had separate settings. It's a shame that the forum devs are like this. These smaller changes would make a big difference, it would make socializing so much more fun. I truly believe it would add to the fun of interacting here, which a forum is all about. But they seem to be like Google, who like to remove good things instead of improving them.

And to what you said earlier: I definitely don't want to give anyone a bigger workload. I was even thinking twice before making this topic, since we just received the upgrade/update and it still has some bugs apparently. The topic here really was just meant as feedback, as an idea (for the future). And to learn more about the technically background as well.

This. 100% this. Often we just want to leave a friendly "hello", but when it leads to dozens of notifications of other people doing the same thing, well...I'm thinking twice or thrice before doing so.
If the notifications were separate, we could all get used to it and just mention users we want to add to the conversation. And even better: If it was possible to "follow" status posts as well, it would be perfect!

I watch it in german, yes. I find it perfect. I prefer the songs and the voices in german. German dubs of any kind usually don't receive a lot of appreciation and people tend to watch the originals, especially when it comes to Anime and stuff. I find it a shame, because they do an excellent job. In FiM for example, I prefer the way the sounds, music and voices are mixed in the german version. And they put attention to detail, there are many scenes of characters (important ones and background ones) that are only voiced in german. Basically, they move their mouths in the english version, but they aren't voiced at all, make no noises either. This is different in german and this makes it more alive and it changes the canon a bit for me, since I discover "different/new" aspects about the story or various characters. Ditzy also has a cute little crazy laugh in german at one point, but it's completely mute in english. And it is because of all the smaller things I started to love, I would completely miss them in english, so I stick to the german one. Whenever I talk about my favorite songs, characters, episodes and all that, I always do it with the german ones in mind. I can imagination that I have a whole different impression of the show than most other fans here. Maybe I say I like Character A and you would be surprised and think what is even the appeal of them? The version differences could be the reason.

I could try to think of some other differences. The name "Derpy" was never used here, Rainbow Dash didn't say a name at all.
When Luna screams "Be still!", there was this very amazing echo, right? This is literally the only thing that I miss in german, that echo isn't there.
Applejack sounds "normal" in german, they didn't gave her any dialect. She has a beautiful, fitting voice of course and the songs are a dream!  When it comes to her, I like both versions, because each version offers me a completely new experience! It's a lot of fun to look up clips of her and to compare.
Some voices in german were switched after some point. Cadance has 3 different across all seasons, Luna 2. Most noteworthy changes are Rainbow Dash's voice and Spike's, for both of them it happened only once and it stayed this way until the end. I love all voices. Rainbow's first voice is the same as Ran Mori's from Detective Conan. It's just a voice one recognizes, haha. The german voice actors are simply incredible, it's something we can be really proud of.
There are things you can only do in english of course. Like the southern accent. There is a lot we miss out on for sure. But you have to keep in mind that germany has it's own culture. We have our own unique things, sayings and these are perfectly executed in FiM. The same is probably true when it comes to most translations, each version is its own unique experience. There could be really amazing things happen in the japanese version and we just wouldn't know it.

The german version actually used some vulgar words when the english one didn't!  Two examples~
When Cozy Glow gets angry and screams to the guard: "Are you kidding me?!?" In german she says: "Willst du mich verarschen?!?" It's definitely the correct translation. But I feel like "Are you shitting me?!?" is closer to what she said in german. Arsch = Ass. It's just part of the word. I like that they did this, it really shows what a bad characters she is! And to hear such a word in a show like this...fascinates me, hahaha.
Another time was Fluttershy, when she said "peeved". In german she says she is "angepisst und stinkesauer". Basically pissed off. Stinkesauer = to be absolutely furious. That part is not vulgar though.
 

And then we have the names. Most names are kept in english. They changed many of the location names though. But when it comes to the characters, this is just a thing that FiM does, to keep the original ones. But there are some exceptions. "The Mane-iac" becomes "Die Mähnenirre". Mähne = Mane. That's the same. Irre (refering to a female in this case) = crazy, insane or mad.
My favorite name is Tree Hugger's german name! Baumliebchen! Baum = Tree. Liebchen = Dear or Sweetheart. This is such a cute name! But when Discord "guessed her name wrong" later on and called her "tree and brave",  the german Discord actually implied her english name here and guessed the name "Baumkuschlerin". Kuschlerin = Cuddler (female). I really love they did that! It was a nice surprise after checking out the english stuff at the time!

Oh yeah, their titles also became directly translated. Like "princess" and stuff or Trixie's long title, haha.

Oh, the post became longer than expected. I should have written a blog maybe, haha. But I will just leave it here. I know it's against the rules to post non-english stuff here in general, that's why I never talk about the fantastic german version of FiM or other things. The songs are incredible and there are so many unique and funny moments. I really miss that to be honest, I have no one I can share this with. The german communities are basically dead. If FiM wasn't translated, I would have never become a fan and I would have never joined this site, the importance of it can't be undervalued.

I didn't vote, the options are strange. My answer is, "no, not at all". Honestly, it makes no difference to me whatsoever. She can fly now, which is great. But Twily is Twily.
