The mare here refers to three things: Implications of bad dreams as appeared in nightmare. Female ponies are called mares. Lunar mare (visually dark parts on the moon) as how Nightmare Moon looks when she was on the moon.-

Interesting explanations! I thought earth ponies need the largest hooves because they do more physical work like farming, and unicorns should have the smallest because they do not have to use hooves to hold or operate things to work. I don't think unicorns need sturdiness for using powerful magic because there is about only one in a thousand unicorns (if not less) with powerful magic (there is none in G5, and there is only Twilight, Starlight, and Star Swirl in G4). -
They do, but why? It does not make sense. Also unicorns in MYM do not appear to have larger hooves.

Hi I am new here (and required to post something here)! I have become an MLP fan not long ago (like months ago?), so I have not created much things about MLP. The only thing I have done related to MLP is a rhythm game chart I wrote.
