    December
You're cold. You get me sick every year. And I end up spending my entire net worth on gifts!

And yet, you're still my favourite time of the year.

Secret Santas. The decorations around town. Coming up with gift ideas. It's just a special kind of fun, seeing some freak out and rush around, while others join me by the public fire and roast marshmallows. The local market huts are filled with artisans selling their goods, with a covered seating area surrounded by burgers, sausages, macaroni and cheese, and other cooked meals ready to charge you far too much for some food. The giant Christmas tree looms over the town square, and the cathedral grounds open for all to visit, take photos, and purchase teas, coffees and mulled wines from the small market on the grounds.
The town feels so empty the rest of the year.

    New Blog
Titanium narrows her eyes and stares down at the small wooden table in front of her, an etching of the word 'blog' brazenly across the veneer mocks her. Though seemingly old, she had never seen it before. "We have a blog?" She mutters to herself, looking around to see if anypony is nearby to catch her talking to herself. Old writings are strewn across the table, a mix of multiple ponies from all walks of life must have used this over the years. Unsure of where it came from, or why she's only now finding it, Titanium pulls up a stool and studies the table further.
"Perhaps I can understand it's purpose if I do what these other ponies had done before me." She questions herself. Titanium drapes a piece of paper over the table. "I don't want to overwrite anypony elses words." She says with a smile, dipping her tail into a little black ink pot, and beginning to write.

    Hello world, Titanium here!
I've been here for quite a few months now, arriving in March of this year. It's all gone by so fast, I've met so many amazing ponies here, even getting myself a little coltfriend~
Within a day of arriving, I had already been visited by Princess Celestia, the local news, and a bunch of other ponies who wanted to see my work! I was so excited, and every day I count myself the luckiest pony in Equestria for having moved into such a lovely little town. I started to wonder if I were any good at painting... Life kept beating me down, I would feel selfish, but still jealous that others were noticed and loved, while I stayed anonymous. I questioned my own cutie mark. But this experience taught me something special...
It isn't just about how much work you do, it's also about being in the right environment. You can try to be the flower that blooms through concrete, fighting an endless fight to survive, but this flower was never meant to be in concrete, I needed a nice flowerbed and didn't even know. That is where I am now, in a place that actually helps you, holds you up, waters that little flower and helps it grow. I will be forever stronger, brighter, and happier, simply by having experienced what it's like here.
One day I may move on, but I don't think I will ever forget this place.
