One Peanuts character I find interesting is Snoopy’s brother Spike. He seems to be the most recurring of all of Snoopy’s siblings and he lives in the desert. That got me wondering, how did Spike wind up in the desert?

Did anyone ever go to the Nick Hotel back when it was the Nick Hotel? I loved Nickelodeon so much as a kid and it was my dream to go to the Nick Hotel. I went there when I was 10 and I remember having so much fun. It was 2010 and it was the 5 year anniversary of the Nick Hotel so I was really happy when I went. I was kind of upset when I heard that it was going to be branded back into a Holiday Inn, but then I heard about all of the different Nickelodeon hotels that were planned and I was excited. There’s even supposed to be a new one in Orlando.

The Amazing World of Gumball is overrated. I don’t think it’s bad, I just don’t think it’s one of the greatest shows ever made.

Does anyone else miss DVDs that have actual pictures on them? I mean the actual physical discs themselves.

Nowadays, most DVDs are just bland grey.

I know it doesn’t mean much in the long run of things, but having pictures on the DVDs gave them a bit more personality. At least in my opinion. I know some companies still have pictures on DVDs like Shout Factory, but still.

The live action Grinch movie is NOT good. I have nothing against Jim Carrey, I adored him as Dr. Robotnik in the Sonic movies. Jim Carrey’s portrayal of the Grinch is the least of my problems with the movie. My real problem with the movie is the Who’s, especially the mayor. They were all so mean spirited towards the Grinch. I get that it’s supposed to make us sympathize with the Grinch, but they were all so mean to him for no reason whatsoever. Another thing I don’t like is how ugly everything looks in the movie. The colors are muted and themtown of Whoville looks so smoggy. The only two good things about the movie in my opinion are Cindy Lou Who and Max. Cindy Lou Who because she was the only one to show any kindness towards the Grinch, and Max because he’s a dog. I will say this though, it’s not as bad as the live action Cat in the Hat movie from 2003, and it’s nowhere near as bad as that Grinch inspired horror movie, The Mean One, from 2022.
