Oh my god I just used the amulet coin on the elite four, YOU GET SO MUCH MONEY

I got around $15,000 per battle so overall I got $75,000 (plus Gary of course) I can fight the E4 around two times a day so I can make around $150,000 per day. Dayuuuum o_o

That's literally my ideal team for this game, haha. Except scratch out Gyrados for a Blastoise. My 3 friends and I are playing through the game together and are meeting up after the Elite Four to see who the "real" champion is. Except I'm an EV trainer, and they have no idea what EV training is.

Oh my god are you serious that's exactly what my friends and I are doing too xD

Hopefully if I win I'll get my friend's Blastoise and my other friend's Charizard (both level 65) If I lose.... bye bye to my level 85 Venusaur ;_;

I looked it up, is it from one of oak's aides? I probably missed him. I got the itemfinder and the exp share, but I didn't get one for 40 pokemon.

I don't know where to find the coin, I never played through firered/leafgreen much, because I played the heck out of blue. I use a persian with pay day for money, fighting trainers, besides running elite 4

Nice team, are they EV trained and everything? I'll have to battle you some time. I'm a bit lower level, but training currently, with a snorlax, aerodactyl, machamp, arcanine, cloyster, and exeggutor

Nah I decided not to EV train since my friends have no idea what it even is (felt like it was a bit unfair to do it xD) I'll probably EV train when I make my new character.

Also have you got the amulet coin yet? It's so useful 

Right now I've been training non-stop to prepare for the epic finale between me and my two friends, the winner gets the other two's starters so it's kinda scary xD.

That's something you're supposed to do for competitive battling anyway.

They couldn't be that hard to compete with. I'm sure anyone could keep up with the right know how.

Fun fact: there is a conversation going on about bronies right now.

They are, they EV train their pokemon like crazy (something I never thought to do lol.)

Also to run it should be 'x' by default, but you can change your controls in settings.

Yeah I still play, I need to be the elite four, and after that I'm gonna try and go for the PvP tourneys going on, of course I doubt I'd do any good xD.

Oh goodness. There's no rule set in to keep the high levels with the highs and lows with lows? That actually sounds kinda scary.

OT: Im totally gonna try this out when I get home. I've never done one, but I have somewhat been wanting to find one.

If you're planning on playing just one tip, don't ever accept random duel battles until you have level 70 pokemon, I learnt the hard way ;_;

Why do everyone want a Pokemon MMO? I don't get it, what's so great about Pokemon being an MMO? Don't you think Pokemon is already kind of like an MMO? I mean you have to grind, you have to venture, you can trade with others, you can battle online, isn't that enough? I don't understand why this is such a big deal :\

Because the pokemon world feels kind of empty, maybe it's just me but it felt really lonely, also even though there is online it's pretty terrible tbh, what with friend codes and such.

It's also fun to race through the game with friends.

Well that's sealed it i'll at least give it a try, maybe when I get started we could battle sometime It's still in it's beta stage right? If so it should get more awesome as it gets updated! (I'm getting too hyped and into a game I haven't even played yet  ... )

Actually it's in alpha, it was only publicly released in September so it will be getting better, they're currently working on making other regions available.

Wow, this seems pretty awesome, might give it a go soon, I've always wanted a more multi-player Pokémon and not just battling over the internet so this should be good. One question though, do the extra players add much or any lag to the game? That is a potential downfall of MMOs but hopefully this is fine. XD

The game usually has 1000+ players online at once and has no lag (at least for me)

And loads of sprites on screen doesn't create any lag ( I had 50 players on screen at once with no lag)

It's a pokemon fire red MMORPG, it's really addicting, in the last two days I've got 15 hours of gameplay and already reached the elite four.

You can trade, duel or spectate other plays, or you can play the game normally just with other people around (which livens up the game imo)

Well, good luck with your goal, and getting the right equipment in everything. It can be fun to be a Let's Player. If I can throw a little advice your way...

 

Try to make it interesting.    I've never seen a Let's Play video I really liked. If it's not a guy with a bad mic or a super-annoying voice, it's the master of the obvious CrazyMisty described, who just vocalizes everything he's doing because he can't think of anything else to say. "All right, I should save my game now...I'm walking up to the, uh, save icon...let's see, what name should I save under? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. I think I'll do...BoringDude94."

Indeed, a lot of people take let's playing for granted, it's actually really tough work.

If you're gonna make a let's play make sure that you got a good quality mic, and it doesn't sound like this.
 

If it sounds like that get a new one.

Also try not to do boring commentary like this.

That's just boring and un-interesting, unfortunately it seems most let's plays seem to do that mistake, but try not too :3

Also linked to what I just said, try not to be shy and awkward, if you feel that way, the viewer will likely feel that way too. (Like that video I posted, the person in that video was being obviously awkward)
