    "Very well, lockhart. Nice to meet you alex. I'm your workshop teacher, gearbox. You'll be bunking with sky for your time here." "Is there any objections to the dorm set up?"

    "Well it seems to all be figured out." He said writing down names next to each other. "Sugar, your with Krystal." "Pynstrype and Splinter." "Quill and Musical" "That leaves Clyare with Ivy." "That means... Lockhart, Sky, ummm new pony, whats your name?"

    Gooked around. "well, your right, erm...sky, right? There was supposed to be another pony here but maybe he's sick."

    "Very well. keep that in mind im a tad busy right now." He said, frantically filing his papers. "Where is 76-1? i thought i put it here..."

    Gear looked around the class. "I'll let all of you sort it amongst yourselves. If your sure of your roomate, tell me." He put his pencil down for now, and began sorting through some schematics on his desk.

    "Any objections, suger?" gear said, writing down pony's names, trying make sure hell recognize them all.

    "Thats good, splinter, its good to have a positive attitude towards things. Now, it seems to have befallen me to assign you dorms. Does anypony have Anypony else in particular they'd like to bunk with?"

    "We were introducing our selves. Why don't you go next." He said as he went through the attendance sheet, looking at evrypony and writing thier names down.

    "Come in, late one." Gear sighed at the group of misfits he has as students this year.

    Gear merely tilted his head at Pin. "What are you?"

    "Alright. I want everypony to introduce themself, and say one thing about themselves. I'm gearbox, but you can call me whatever you like. Erm, you, with the energy drinks, You go next."

    Gearbox walked back to his desk. "Alright. It seems were off to a fantastic start. Has anyone here ever Made something by hand?"

    Gear sighed. he walked over to splinter. "If your that keen on running around like a field mouse, you can go outside." He whispered, handing him another energy drink.

    Gear Rolled his eyes at the running pony. He coughed, sticking his hoof out, tripping him. "Please sit down, unless your planning on giving me some."

    "Thank you, err... pony." He looked around the class. "Everyone relax we will begin soon."

    "Alright everypony take a seat. I dont suppose anypony's seen my box have they?"

    Gear just walked into his class to see somepony already there. "Oh hello, there young one. No need to rush."

    Gear walked up the steps to the maitenance room, and saw that one of the gears for the bell was stuck. He pushed it into funtion again, and the sound of the bell was nearly deafening to him. "Ah Geez. Shouldve seen that coming."

    He looked up at the clock. "Bell should have rung" he walked up the steps and saw everyone in Snow's room. "Hey is everypony in here?"

    Gearbox woke up and looked at the clock. "Hmmm shouldnt the bell have rung already?" He got up and stretched. He trotted around the corner and looked into thickets room. "Where are the kids?"

    "Ah bell!" Gear jumped up. "Wait, no, no, its fine. I still have time...to..." he mumbled as his head smacked the desk again. (Brass and copper, yes.)

    "I suppose... i can... find it... when class starts...." He said, slowly sitting down and slowly laying his head.
