I live way out of the hurricane zone. Sometimes, what's left over from a hurricane comes up to the east side of Oklahoma and all we get is some rain and a little wind. It happened with Katrina and Isaac. Anyway, yeah, the US is going to be hammered by two consecutive storms. I don't think Jose will be hitting the mainland US, but it looks like he's going to get really close to Puerto Rico. Those guys were just wrecked by Irma so I hope they don't get another direct hit.

I'll do what I can to help! I'm rusty on textbook accounting. I don't do anything related to my book studies at my job, and I've been out of school a few years now. I have a few grad level credits and I'm slowly working toward a master's degree. It's pretty tough going back to school after just being in the workforce a few years.

Oh yeah. Gas mileage is pretty good for it being a sports car. I could get it into the mid 30s on highway drives, but I'm REALLY good at feathering the gas. On average, though, I was closer to 20-25.

I drive an HR-V now. They advertised it for 28 city, 35 highway, 32 combined. 

I'm doing about 25-ish in town but on the highway on my daily commute, I'm doing something closer to...

That was probably the best I ever did. I was at about 55-ish as I pulled off the highway, but this was after I'd driven a little in town to get to my hosue. Really good, though, considering it IS NOT a hybrid.  I felt super efficient.

I'm averaging high 30s on a tank. I was at 39.5 on my last tank. I'm about 37 on this one.  It took me a while to warm up to this new car of mine. It's not incredibly fun to drive, but I like that it sips gas because it saves a lot of trips to the gas station.
