    Lightning laughed. "Of course Discord. I sure won't remind you." She chuckled. She half wondered if he would find her joke unamusing. She hoped not. She was trying to be funny. But she'd never been very good at being funny. It didn't matter, as long as Discord understood.

    Lightning grinned. "I'm a great deceiver but I'm also great at stalling."Lightning Flicker laughed. "It's been fun, but its time we worked our way to the climax. Did you really think you could prevent Discord from escaping? My whole childhood, I've turned to him as if he were a god. He was my god. My confidant. I always directed my thoughts to him. And it helped me deal with everything."

    Lightning glared at him. "I haven't threatened anyone yet. I haven't done a single thing. Besides, there's nothing that says we citizens of Equestria can't voice our opinions and that's all I have done. So far. I honestly don't feel like a fight though. But you have no right to tell me to back off after voicing my opinion."

    Lightning Flicker growled. "Does she care to know? No! All she cares about are those ponies with the elements of Harmony! And, fine, I will take it up with you! Equestria has gone to the dogs! At least when Discord still reigned ponies weren't disappearing and getting attacked by wild animals! I don't care what you say, this is the way I see it and nothing can change that."

    Lightning Flicker went over the edge at that. "Celestia doesn't care about us! No one knows about anything. She sweeps all tragedy under the rug! Many, many ponies have gone missing and I've been the only one to notice! No one has been told to look into it! And when my brother and I were attacked by a creature and he died, no one heard about that! She doesn't care about any of it! She claims we have such wonderful peace and harmony! I have no peace! My back aches every day and at night, I dream about that incident every night! Every single night! Where's my peace?!"

    Lightning Flicker looked at them both. Then she just turned back to the statue and closed her eyes. The time is coming, Chaos will reign as it should. And Celestia will have power over Equestria no longer! There was a hatred of Celestia behind her last sentence and it was obvious.

    Lightning was shocked. She'd been quietly trying to pray to Discord for the longest time. Since she was a little filly! And now he had answered. It would be so grand when he finally broke free! She felt tired of waiting. But, Deception required patience and forethought, which she possessed.

    "I do not know." Lightning had her eyes closed. Soon enough, you shall be free Discord. And then Chaos will reign as it should. It will be perfect. And I'll finally be able to ditch those loser elements of Harmony as 'friends'. Yes, soon, things will be as they should be.

    Lightning headed to the statue. She went as often as she could without seeming suspicious. She liked to pay homage to the one who she believed had made her such a wonderful deceiver. She smiled at the ponies she passed. "What a wonderful day!" She smiled as she passed Fluttershy. "Good day Fluttershy!" She trotted on. She absolutely could NOT stand the ponies that possessed the Elements of Harmony. And yet she remained friends with them. Why? She took joy in deceiving them. Especially sweet little Fluttershy.
