  1. This is certainly not a fad. Fads don't have conventions. Fads don't last this long. Sure there will come a time when the show ends, we will probably lose some people. But there will be many people who will never forget. I know I am one of those people. I will always remember. I will always be a Brony.

  2. Story Rule # <Your Favorite Number Here>: "If you don't actually see the character die, and if you don't see a corpse, that character has a shot at returning somewhere down the line."

I wouldn't be surprised if Chrysalis showed up again, but I doubt it will be in Season 3. I'd like to see new villains added into the mix, or maybe bring in some baddies from previous generations of My Little Pony and polish them with G4 awsomeness. Tirek (from G1) would be a welcome addition to FiM in my oppinion.

Also a season long break would give ol' Chrysalis time to mend the countless broken bones that she probably got from that fall.

  3. Alright, damn it! It was me! I stole the cookies from the cookie jar! ...oh wait, that's not MLP related. Silly me. XD

I don't know if this counts as a confession, but here we go!

Whenever I am on my own with no one else around I play all the songs from Season 1 and 2 and I sing along with them while I am playing video games. I REGRET NOTHING!

Also I occasionally read ship fics... the ones that don't have clop in them. It's a guilty pleasure.

  4. Well that depends on the person. If they are friendly they will be welcomed here. The road to becoming a brony is paved with curiosity, so theoretically a non-brony may suddenly realize that they have become a brony. Of course that doesn't always happen but it is certainly not out of the question.

Now, hypotheticals aside: Welcome to the forums! Enjoy your stay. :)

  5. I pretty much agree with everyone else here. I doubt Rarity would, at this point, leave Ponyville and live in Canterlot. Her shop seems to be doing pretty well in Ponyville. Not only that but her friends and family are there. No sense moving if she can both make a profit and be near all the ponies who matter in her life. Since she has celebrities like Sapphire Shores coming into her boutique she may not even need to move. Why go to the capital when all the big customers are willing to go to you?

  6. I don't hug people all that often. However there are people I will always hug if I happen to see them. Mostly that consists of my close friends and family. Also if I ever meet someone who is offering free hugs or is looking for a hug I will usually take/give one.

  7. So that leads me to now I'm kinda scared to be a brony an a supporter of stuff. I'm not scared easily but it got worse then that so my thing to you is have you ever been scared to be a brony this also relates to school kids that said they where bronys got beat the hell up an teachers well we all know how that goes....

But getting back to the point are you scared or does this show that the brony community is growing an ppl should be happy over being scared?

It is my opinion that you do not need to be afraid for now. The church doesn't have the power to do anything beyond saying: "tsk tsk tsk" and then waggle their index finger. You only need to be afraid if they go beyond simply sending you a passive aggressive letter asking you to go to a cleansing ceremony. But I doubt they will beyond that, it's not the middle ages/early renaissance anymore (you know, when the Church had way too much power).

And no I am not scared about the possible consequences of being a Brony. It's my personal belief that history will remember us all as a group that dared to challenge the bullshit "standards" of what we are and are not supposed to enjoy in our spare time. And we will be remembered in a positive light. The closed minded and the haters however... they will be looked down upon. Kind of like how extreme racism is generally looked down upon.

  8. Let's see....

Call of Duty somehow got even worse ever since CoD 4. I could understand why people liked CoD 4, I do not understand why people still waste their time with that series.

Dragon Age is a boring fantasy game.

    Borderlands is awful.

F.E.A.R. 2 was the best of the series.

Any game that was made after Silent Hill 4: The Room should never have existed in the first place. Nothing can beat Silent Hill 2.

Dead Space is no longer a horror game. It's an action game with disfigured zombies.

Well, that's all from me folks. I'm going to go hide behind my fireproof shield now. ^_^

  9. Skyline. Good lord that movie was awful. My friend and I rented that off of Amazon when we found out that (at the time) Transformers 3 wasn't available for renting. We love to make fun of bad movies, but watching that movie was so painful that we had a hard time actually making fun of it.

  10. Sleep? What is sleep? O_o

Joking aside, I prefer to sleep on my back but sometimes I sleep on my side. It's entirely random. Also I sleep with only PJ bottoms and no shirt. Not sure when I started doing that or why, but I've stuck with it ever since.

  11. I want to be a Game Designer. It's been my dream since I was a little kid playing games on the Super Nintendo. I'm also interested in writing and am currently writing a novel. So I guess being a writer is also a dream job of mine.

  12. A friend of mine showed me an episode back in November, Winter Wrap Up to be specific. Song got stuck in my head and kept playing over and over and over for several days. I couldn't stop thinking about the show.

I knew what was happening, I knew I was innevitably heading down the path of becoming a "Brony" as my friend had called it. I fought against it and managed to delay long enough until Winter Break when I finally gave in and watched Episode 1.

The rest is history I guess. By episode 2 I was hooked, and within a month I willingly called myself a Brony. Then I began to search for the Herd and found places like Equestria Daily, FiM-Fiction, etc. From there I ended up being T-shirts, a couple of the toys, and before I knew it I was attending Summer Bronycon 2012.

  13. Tank vanished from Rainbow Dash's home some time ago. Ponyville Police Department (PPD) believes that the Tortoise was kidnapped. According to investigators, it's possible that the culprit behind Tank's disappearance is the Alicorn depicted here: Posted Image

No but seriously, I'm sure that Tank will show up again at some point. Although it will probably be a brief couple of seconds at the most.

  14. Not enough options on the poll. My vote would be to let the show run it's course and whatever happens is what will happen. Sure a day may come when the show ends and the Herd falls apart into a fraction of the size it is now. But even if there are no more episodes the show, the world of Friendship is Magic, will never die. Not as long as there are those who remember it.

And I know for a fact that there will be Bronies who will stand by the show even after it has ended. I know I will be one. My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is the first form of entertainment that has actually had an effect on my life. Sure the dream of being a game designer came from... well... Video Games. But it wasn't video games that got me out of a bad place, that taught me how to be positive, and how to let go of a lot of negative emotions I had bottled up inside me for too long. No, it was MLP: FiM that made me a better person. So I won't be forgettng it anytime soon, if ever.

Also, My Little Pony will never die. It's been around in various forms since the 80s. If it can survive 20+ years and come back multiple times in various forms, it's certainly not going to end if they decide to bring G4 to a close.

  15. Wait, wait, wait. Hold on a second. Why should I care about what a bunch of teenagers think about a show I like to watch let alone anything in this world? That entire series is pointless, teenagers are not fountains of wisdom we should flock to for anything.

Now as for Haters... well it really depends. Some people have seen the show and legitamitely do not like it or say that it is not their cup of tea. Props to those people for giving it a shot at the very least. That's far better than the rest of the haters.

As for the closed minded haters. I could go into a long speech about how they are too weak minded to see beyond what they've been told all their lives and crap like that. But I think it can be summed up into one line from Fallout Nuka Break.

To the haters: "You are just too dumb to know any better."

  16. Anybody ever heard of Lunar: The Silver Star or Lunar: Eternal Blue that were on the Sega CD? No? Okay.... how about Lunar: Silver Star Story or Lunar 2: Eternal Blue on the PS1/Sega Saturn? Hmm... okay I'll take that as a no. Anyway, Lunar was a series of 2D turn based rpgs that had great stories. There is still a hardcore following for this game that is awaiting Lunar 3 (which I honestly think will never happen).

Anywho, here is some gameplay of Lunar: Silver Star Story on the PS1. Enjoy!
