    Will you be depressed on Christmas?

    Wow I feel sorry for all those who will be sad at Christmas :C I would love to be able to invite you all over!

     

    I will be SO happy :D!

     

    It's remembering the day God decided to make himself man to save us! It fill me with such joy and hope I can't contain myself :D! I never ever sleep Christmas ever I just want to sing at shout and be joyful :D!

    The creepy thing is that it's not just a coincidence.

     

    All the big advertising companies track which sites you visit. (They have ads on those sites, so when you visit the sites, their server records a log of you requesting a banner image. This is how they know which sites you've visited.) Thus they figure out what adverts to target to you.

     

    On the topic of MLP in work, I did include some MLP-related examples in a talk I gave about object-oriented programming to around 90 people last weekend.

     

    Yep, this is why you have to be careful when buying things from Amazon, normally I buy something then get a million adverts for it after ><!

    Bonfire night

    I live in london so everynight has been fireworks for the past week. I had a great view from my bedroom window while I was on the computer.

    The majority of people on the forum are from the US so thats probably why you dont see many posts appreciating our 'nearly killed all the politicians' day.

     

    This is pretty much the same here in notts! It sounds like a warzone every night from people setting off crackers and rockets in the park :!

    yeah, they didn't build these machines to last (because AAA's are asshats) and nintendo knew that if your plan is to make good games, things will work out.

     

    I think there might be a 8 1/2 generation with the PS4.5 and the Xbox One and a half

     

    Yeah there has to be a half step, otherwise steam box's will clean house if they get done at a semi decent price point.

     

    The PS4 seems to be the better of the 2  at the moment but even then its limited by the xbone unless the game is exclusive. 

     

    Currently the wii U seems to be the best overall :P Games that are fun and run well haha! 

    Lunar republic?

    Its not really that big of a thing. It sorta like a little in-fandom thing. Harmless. Sort of like a meme I suppose. But its an old one. Like before season 2 old. No one these days goes "Are you for the New Lunar Republic or the Solar Empire?" anymore lol. Like I said it's old so I don't know if anyone here would truly know how it started. I think it probably started as a fan fic probably and then people made art of it and it became a thing for a sort time but died off. You shouldn't worry about, no one ever took it seriously, no one thinks Ceestia is actually a tyrant ect ect. We know they are kind and loving rulers. :P

     

    I think it started because some people where like "Luna is best princess" and others "no celestia" and then suddenly, "Bow to best princesses Lunar republic". It kind of came out of the love for the 2 characters.

     

    Then we got more princesses and everything just got a bit crazy/forgotten :P

    Overpowered...? Do you think Earth ponies really care if ponies can do things they can't? No, they love their lives like they are. Like you said, it is a kids show. Everyone that lives in Equestria loves themselves for who they are. No hard feelings.

     

    Very true, but don't forget the earthponys magic and ability to grow things!

     

    We have an entire episode, hearth warmings eve, that shows you why they are all important and not imbalanced.

    Death in MLP. Is it really as sensitive a subject as some make it?

    Death is a very touchy subject. Remember that this show is also a children's show, and children can get scared/traumatized by things that we adults could just shrug off.  Yes, death has been portrayed before in Disney films and others, but it's very tricky to pull off. Maybe the writers don't really want to take that risk.

     

    I agree with this, if you look in frozen disney very quickly brushed off the way that Aunna and Elsa's parents died.

     

    Death can be be a reality check even for adults!

    Describe some times when you've cried

    Real men don't cry, so I cry often. Over little things, bad things, sweet things and many things.

     

     

    I used to believe this, but I changed my opinion when I was balling for days after my university degree turned out to be the worst thing in the world ! :x

    I haven't cried in a long time. I probably haven't cried for a whole year. Trust me, I want to, but I can't for some reason.

     

    Yeah I can understand and feel for you :/

     

    Sometimes its a great release to be able to cry, and often when I want to I can't manage it either :x!

    Would you be friends with a creep

    I'm friends with a few creeps and the benefit is that you always have some crazy story to share about their creepiness.

    I think part of the reason that he is so creepy is likely to be the fact that he doesn't have many friends and is unimaginable socially awkward!

     

    I think I also feel like sometimes he needs someone to look after him, in any case I believe love is for everyone and not jsut normal people!

    usually fanservice is painfully obvious

     

    Just the way imo the seemed to sacrifice a lot of story to try and wedge in fan characters returns (such as trixie) and making the show more disjointed as they tried to cram so much into 30 min episodes.

     

    I feel its worse with the trixe episode, it just feels so out of place in mlp the way it was done!

     

    But I also don't like s3 that much because they tried to make many of the episodes feel "epic" and just ended up screwing up the pacing of the episodes making them feel disjointed. S4 went back to simpler storylines where they did try and cram stuff or force stuff in, which I much preferred :D!
