  1. I am now forever angry because My chain of 67 encounters so I can get a shiny pancham with a pokeradar was broken because I accidentally touched the circle pad. FFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUU

anyone want to exchange friend codes? I'm looking for someone with either steel or dragon typing.

  2. Hi! I'm Tom or K3wro in most places, and I've been working with electronic music since late 2011, I've been playing piano for more than 5 years.

My style usually consists of energy and speed, Mainly focusing in genres such as UK Hardcore, Drum and Bass, and Breakbeat (I like to image Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie in my music sometimes).

Even when my original intentions was to create remixes, most of my songs are original and I have an example, right here

Anyway, hope this experience in PonyFM's a good one, because I'm loving the site already! C:

  3. First of all, Find a way to make some money, find a job, start a local business etc. Just make sure you have at least $100 as your starting budget, or else your not gonna get any further than where you started (I completely depended on birthday and new years money, so I had a total of $250 to begin with). I only spent it on FL Studio and other soft synths but It was enough for me, Improvement over that LMMS at least.

So, Get a good microphone, even a rockband mic can work well, but not too well, Maybe the blue yeti microphones are good too.

Well, For digital composing in music, Start with Reaper, It's a free DAW and you can start publishing your music after you buy a licence (which is $60). And while your at it, get some free synths like synth1, Oatmeal or TAL noisemaker.

Just like how everyone says it, Audacity is a good, free recording software

    Good luck!

  4. I think the metal pony should look more "metal", how about let her wear one of those spiked handcuffs?

I really dig the pop pony, I think she needs to be a bit bit smoother but I like it so far!

You gonna work on the Drum & Bass, hardcore and the Jazz pony? I might have a few suggestions for them :)

  5. My Dad was born in Cedar Rapids, I visited there once and it was a pretty cool place, I remember the drive through the desert when I lived in California.

and ya, it really is the state of corn! I might slip through there again during summer in my visit to st.Louis, for a family reunion.

  6. Well I want to learn how to make pony music myself. I have a copy of FL Studios however it is somewhat hard to use. Should I go with Reason or stick with what I've got?

Money is not an issue for me.

It's actually a-lot harder, I rewire it to FL for the synths but I would stick with FL for now, you should look at it after you feel comfortable to DAWs (like FL)

  7. FL Studio is a really complex software that requires a lot of time and devotion. Maybe start with simpler programs like Reason.

    > Maybe start with simpler programs like Reason.

start with simpler programs like Reason.

    simpler programs like Reason.

    >Like Reason

    what

  8. @@SailorCardKnight, I'm pretty much in the same boat as you are. I have a copy of FL Studio thanks to my cousin so I don't really have to worry about paying for it since he already got me a license.

What are "theory tutorials"? I have looked up how to make a simple song in FL Studios and most of the tutorials were either too advanced or simply not what I was looking for.

Here's an example of a youtube video I used back then :

Also, By theory, I have a webpage right here : http://www.musictheory.net/

I'd check it out if you want to make good music ;)

  9. @@MeanBlackHawk, Do you know where to get floops from and how much it's cost's? (Pref for as little as possible tongue.png ) I've always wanted to get it but i heard it was really expensive!

Actually, It is expensive, but a bit cheaper than many other widely used DAWs, like Abelton for example.

You can get the Producer Edition for around $200 and the full (Signature) Edition for around $299. It comes with some good vsts and such so I'd say it's worth it. IMO, I like it better than Abelton Live. I recommend buying it, It's not about the virus issue or legal issue or anything, but it's about how you progress, Knowing you spent money that you earned by working hard on a tool rather than getting it for free can improve your production and level of investment on the program, and thus, you can learn it better.

    1) If you ever get a new computer, go download a demo for FL, and once you make enough money, upgrade it to the full version, However, there's a free alternative, It's called REAPER, it's CPU light and Free! and if you want to publish your music or sell it, you can get the licence for it, which is only $60, Trust me, I used both of these softwares. :)

    FL Studio : http://www.image-line.com/documents/flstudio.html

    Reaper : http://www.reaper.fm/

    2) Try searching up theory tutorials on youtube, There are TONS out there.

    3) Gradge band is a fun program to use, though it's a bit limited in some parts reliable for audio production, if it's the time, you can upgrade to logic, which is more suitable if you decide music is your profession.

  10. 1. Do not call FL Studio as a plural, you look like someone with no hope in such program if you do this, e.g. "yo manz, I jus got some FL Studios, time to make som sick beatz", ....please.....no

    2. Virtual DJ is NOT for making music, It's for performing DJ, Loading samples and creating mixes, If you want to make mixes for youtube and such, good, but I would get a decent DJ controller, or maybe even an audio interface for turntables, if not, make sure you got a big library full of music you can mix

    3. Pony step = Dubstep?

Sorry for being a little rude at the start, but you need to be a little more serious about this if you want to make progress in it (Really hard to tell thanks to the picture on the bottom and the avatar, kinda). But please, I can help you out with FL if you need to, but message me through the forums if you want my skype.

  11. Background: light blue

Body: The pony that's in my profile pic currently

    Eyes: brown

Tongue (if you don't want it normal):

Accessories (to customize your licky): headphones (optional)

  12. It's a ton of fun, even for people who didn't try the older civ games. It's not easy to play in the beginning, but that's what makes it so fun!

I reccomend getting the game of the year even if it's a bit pricey, it comes with all the DLCs and Map packs on steam except the Gods & Kings Expansion. Tip though, Don't get the expansion until you feel like your good at the game or you'll be dissapointed, it's basically the original Civ 5 except it adds new leaders, modes, scenarios, maps, and features such as religion and espionage which gives more depth into game play

My top 5 civilization to play are :

    1. America - simply because of their awesome abbility, especially when I'm an expansionist who likes to buy a crapload of land

    2. Japan - Extremely powerful military and units

    3. Carthage - Abbility to climb over mountains (for trolling uses)

    4. Danish - I'm a navy guy, I attack from the sea often and I hate it when people take my scouts in the middle of the sea, Not Anymore!

    5. Korea - For Science!

Go get it! it's one of the best strategy game by far!

  13. I was actually expecting this for a long time. Even when "TWILIGHT NEXT PRINCESS" was a fanon, It was pretty much her destiny from the very first episode of the show and Celestlia was pretty much watching her to be her successor because she knows twilight with her god magic power can rule equestria better than..her...hmm.

  14.

This a trailer for the upcoming album put together by the Balloon Party team as this year's bronyquest!

I just wanted to know what you guys feel about this, it's not close to finished but how is it so far?

edit : I spelled the title wrong, this is embarrasing

  15. I don't know, it was a good episode but it felt rushed, I think it should of been a 2 parter, the songs took all the time for dialogue and the problem was solved too quickly, it was unsatisfying.

Since when was FiM a 2002 Disney musical? 7 songs in 30 minutes? But Celestlia singing was epic and unexpected, it felt like Jesus was singing or something

  16. Wheeeee 100 SUBS! Thank you to all my friends for following me :D

So, I started working on this around 3 months ago, but I abandoned it because I thought people did'nt really like the episode so much, But I did have a little fun finishing this up, especially when I was working on the visuals, Zgame's scripts don't offer much freedom in this though.

    anyway, enjoy :)

  17. I might want to be 3 feet tall, I always wanted to crawl into small spaces without crouching or ducking, like doors!

Oh yeah, It'll be so cool to be a giant hamster named fluffy that can stop time :3
