@@InfinityWhale, Whirl Wake barely heard what Light had said in response. He felt awful. "Oh my god I'm so sorry." The rant had been one of the worst ones he'd let out in his time, and the worse they were, the more sick he felt after them. "I'm sorry... I couldn't control myself." He managed, looking at the ground in disgust at his own self. "It wasn't.. I.." He wanted to sink into the floor and barf.

Whirl Wake shrugged. "I guess I could be an advantage to, but not as a soldier." He glanced back at the hatch before turning to the Rainbow Pony. "I could simulate a venom similar to that of a yellow dart frog with a bar of had soap and a lime, with which you could coat your sword to ensure death even with the slightest cut from its blade."

Whirl Wake turned back to the rainbow-haired pegasus. "Well, now I know that this cruise will be a lot more interesting than I thought." He shifted his gaze to the stallion next to her. "I'm Whirl Wake, by the way. And you are?" He hoped not to get on this pony's bad side, as he was friends with the captain and appeared to be quite powerful.

((OOC: This is where his quality of unintentionally speaking his mind comes in. Drama tiiiime!)) Whirl Wake shifted uncomfortably, right before trotting over to where Psych and Light were sitting down. He glared at the latter. "Virility? Really?" He gestured to where he used to be standing. "The hell was that supposed to be? She probably thinks I'm a freak now, all because you had to butt in and fill the air with awkward." His petty anger got the best of him, and he continued, despite what his common sense would say. "What, did you think I would hook up with her after knowing her for three minutes? Well guess what, you self-righteous little canniver. This isn't your world, where we can flirt with whoever we want, whenever we want, with no limitations because nobody has feelings. This isn't the perfect world, this is the living, breathing one. This is the real world, with things like trust and pain. In this world, we have boundaries, and no room for those who want to be obnoxious and gleefully ruin it for the normal people out there!" He backed away from the pony, his eyes wide. He was breathing heavily, reflecting hearing those words come out of his mouth. 'What did I just say..?'

Whirl Wake blushed as Light Eye commented on him. Virility!? He rolled his eyes. 'Yes, I suppose that's completely appropriate.' He thought as the orange mare nudged him. He looked back at Remmy, silent for a few seconds. "Yeah, she's quite the unique one." Whirl said, scratching his neck once again, a sign of discomfort in the stallion.

((OOC: Not sure if Whirl Wake's interpretation of the situation is the correct one, but I'll just leave it at this.))Whirl Wake grinned with his eyebrows raised. He wanted to burst out in laughter. She seemed overdoing it a bit, making him wonder what tension could develop between the two mares. Then he recalled what the fortune teller had said. Could this be connected? Could this be what the strange unicorn had foretold? His smile became fake, and a small bead of sweat ran down his forehead. 'Please don't make this bad, Light Eye...' He thought to himself, keeping his mouth shut.

Whirl Wake sighed in annoyance at being ignored. He flew up the stairs and set down beside Crimson, hoping to get his attention. "Like I said," He spoke loudly, articulating every word. "Where are th-" Whirl turned his gaze to see Rainbow Dash, the Element of loyalty, standing before him. He looked at Crimson, then back to Rainbow. Then back to Crimson. He leaned in and whispered to the captain. "When you said you had friends in high places I though you meant some rich Canterlot ponies, but..." He raised an eyebrow and looked into Crimson's eyes.. "Her?!"

Whirl Wake wake's eyes widened. "I wouldn't know. I've never met another pony who shared my fancy for medicine!" He continued to grin, noticing how she was looking up and down his body. "Um.." His cheeks turned a faint red as he uncomfortably scratched his neck. 'What is she thinking about me? She probably thinks I'm not fit. Man, why can't I just like sports?'

Whirl Wake's face brightened. He suddenly felt a lot more connected to this mare. "You're kidding! I mean, my interests are more centered around vaccines and pills, but... Wow!" He smiled, an actual, legitimate smile, unlike most of the ones he had been showing lately.

((OOC: Sorry for taking so long. Throwing up sucks.)) Whirl Wake laughed. 'There are more original ice-breakers out there.' He thought to himself, glad that he didn't accidentally blurt that out. "Well, so far I've been doing great! I've met a lot of nice ponies around here. I can't wait to start classes as well!" He looked at his cutie mark and back to Remmy. "I plan on studying medicine. When I graduate I want to become a pharmacist in Canterlot, where I can help ponies in need!" Whirl Wake glanced at the oak leaf on her flank. "How about you? What are interested in?"

Whirl Wake chuckled at the excited mare. "I'm in dorm 7, actually." He glanced back at the fortune teller, thinking for a second about what he said. 'Nope. No.' He kicked the feeling away, convincing himself that it wasn't real. Turning back to Remmy, he spoke. "How about you? What dorm are you living in?"

((OOC: Apostrophes instead of regular quotes mean thoughts. Just clarifying, since I didn't in that dialogue.)) Whirl Wake turned to see a beautiful mare hastily introducing herself to him. "Oh, uhh... Hi?" He had never seen the pony before, or at least he thought he hadn't. "My name's Whirl Wake, nice to meet you." He shook her hoof, turning back to see Light Eye getting her hoof read. "Yeah, I did. But I don't really believe in that stuff." He shifted his gaze back to... 'Remmy? Or was it Aroma... I could barely tell...' He shook it off. "Are you new here as well? I just moved in this morning." He found himself to be looking all around her body, finding each little detail of hers to be, well, beautiful.

Nodding in satisfaction, Whirl turned back to the fortune teller. "Well, yeah, but it's still fun to have somepony read a fortune to you, be it fake or not." He observed as the seemingly focused pony looked at the seven cards. "Who knows? Maybe you will hear the fortune and do something different, changing your life for the better!"

Whirl Wake looked up and down the earth pony. "Well," He said, raising an eyebrow and putting on a mischievous grin. "You've got confidence down, no doubt about that. Evidently you are intelligent as well." Whirl thought before replying again. "I'm gonna be honest, you are pretty sexy." He laughed, afterwards letting his face get slightly more serious. "Just... Don't hurt anypony, alright? With great power comes great responsibility."

Whirl Wake noticed the orange pony coming up beside him. He leaned towards her, his eyes still fixed on the fortune teller. "He's been looking at the cards for a while now. I wonder what my fortune will be!" He turned back to Inks for a second and then looked into Light's eyes. "Based on what I heard it seems Inks has really opened up to you! Just so you know, I'd prefer you two not to, *ahem,* get to know each other better in our dorm. I don't wanna be kept awake all night!" He laughed at himself, easily seeing how much Inks liked the mare.

Whirl Wake laughed and took seven cards from the deck, passing them back to the strange pony. He had gotten a glance at the cards, and noticed nothing suspicious about them. "Well?" He said excitedly. "You have my fortune?" He smiled playfully, knowing in his head that it wouldn't really affect anything.

Whirl Wake turned back to Light. "Wait, you mean the hoof reading?" He looked back at the pony who was playing with the cards. "I doubt it. It's just for fun! This is college, after all." He smiled and looked into Light's eyes, the gaze lasting a little too long, before awkwardly coming back to reality and watching the magician do his thing.

He marveled at his magic abilities as the strange stallion made beautiful patterns with his deck of cards. "Hey guys, come check this out!" He said to his friends. Whirl trotted over to the pony, watching him do more amazing things with the cards.

Whirl Wake nodded. "I'm fine with that." He pointed over to a restaurant, one that he could clearly see the menu of from his location. 'Hayburgers! There we are!' He thought. "That seems like a nice place. Let's go!" He pulled out a bag of bits from under his wing as he trotted towards the cashier

Whirl Wake laughed warmly. "Surely us 'young, strapping stallions' wouldn't be fit for the task of selecting the meals for these two..." He thought for a second and grinned mischievously. "fine, beauteous mares." Whirl Wake laughed again, looking around the food court for something good. "Why don't we walk around a bit and then pick one? I don't even know what these places serve!"

Whirl Wake smiled. "Oh, that's cool." He raised an eyebrow. "Probably should have done a bit of research before I jumped into college. I barely know a thing!" He noticed Light slowing inching towards him, with Inks, in response looking even more anxious. Whirl Wake let out am amused chuckle before looking back up to see a sign saying "Food Court". "I think we've arrived." He pushed open the doors, revealing an enormous room, the sides stamped with all different kinds of restaurants. "So, you guys wanna eat here or go somewhere out of campus?"

Whirl Wake shrugged, trying to stay cool around the two mares. "I'm fine with whatever they have in the cafeteria." He recalled listening to the announcement from earlier. "Didn't that lady on the speaker say we weren't allowed to leave campus for lunch if we were new?" He might have misinterpreted the speech.

@@InfinityWhale,@@Psych Ward, Whirl Wake spoke up. "Oh! I'm Whirl Wake, by the way. Nice to meet you two." He thought for a second before continuing. "I want to study medicine. It's been a passion of mine ever since I was a little colt." He scratched his neck. "I plan on becoming a pharmacist in Canterlot after this. I hear it pays very well, and I'm excited to be helping ponies in need."

Whirl Wake turned to the origin of the voice and saw an orange mare and smiled. "Yeah, we'll come with you." He turned back to Inks and winked at him through the doorway. @@Ampharos, The shy stallion still inside the room, trying his best to conceal himself from view. "C'mon man, branch out!" He said in a slight whisper, hoping to motivate the pony to make friends in this new and scary place.
