  1. After slaving on it for hours, I finally finished it. Not too happy with the snout, though. (The original file was too large to upload; There may be some things lost in compression) Edit: I added a modified version to DeviantArt (my first submission :3) which can be found here or up there. Old version is here:
  2. I don't think I have any right to say what I'm about to say, since I myself am rather spoiled, but I'll give my two (or more) cents. This is a critique/essay/whatever about spoiled people from the point of view of a spoiled guy. Interesting. All right. --- Growing up, yes, I was spoiled. I got what I wanted (almost) when I wanted it, with a tiny price; grades. They'd expect high grades from me and give me something that I want as a reward. This was actually pretty easy, since studying was really simple, and the topics weren't that hard anyway. Because of this, my grades would normally be really high. So yeah, I got what I want. Until 5th grade, when my parents taught me to save up for what I want (though they'd pay for me, since I have severe social anxiety, I guess developed from too much time alone with my teddies). But then, some people I know still even admit they get stuff on a silver platter. My former classmate's 8 year old brother has an iPhone 5, and it's kinda odd seeing a kid that age not, I dunno, roleplaying with himself. Then, there are those classmates of mine posting selfies with their iPad minis, and then a week later, with their new Galaxy Tab. I developed this no-pain-no-gain attitude, so this would really peeve me. I tend to get envious and annoyed, but then I remember who I am/was/could be, and I feel so hypocritical it hurts. So, yeah, I got my thoughts out.
  3. Obviously the Internet, but when it comes to food, it's always junk food, junk food, junk food! It's unhealthy, I know, but couldn't help it. I guess you can say I also consume too much boredom. I tend to get restless, since there's nothing much to do.
  4. Thanks for the kind words, plus the good advice! I'll try to improve, still getting used to digital art. Welp, forgot about the eyelashes.
  5. So this is my OC, Rosy Heart. Made with the pen tool in Photoshop. Seriously, I love that thing. I finally learned how to properly use it, and I actually made something passable as "art". Admittedly, I'm kind of proud of it. I already made some stuff with the pen tool, but they were rather sloppily made, since I had little to no idea as to how to use it. I'd like some feedback (or even a straight workshop, if possible), so, what do you guys think?
  6. Probably to Victorian England. I'd love to see what Queen Vicky actually looked like, other than through the paintings. Actually, I'd go anywhere before the time of photos. Paintings aren't always perfectly accurate, you know?
  7. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Purposefully not finishing the main quest; IMMORTAL FOLLOWERS FTW Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3: FES Love the game, don't actually want to finish it, though. It's such a great experience that I don't want it to end. Fatal Frame Lent it to a friend three years ago. Never got it back. Oh well. Shadow of the Colossus AMAZING GAME. Love the graphics, the gameplay, the serenity of it all. Just... ugh. Dammit Celosia. American McGee's Alice/Alice: Madness Returns Two great games. Haven't picked them up in a while. Dunno why. Pokemon White (Or any Pokemon game) My friend borrowed my copy of Pokemon White for the rest of the year. He finished it for me, actually. To be honest, the only Pokemon game I've finished was Diamond/Pearl, since, well, I kinda had Action Replay.

  9. This is unfortunate. After a month of use, it went down. Gragh. It seemed to be a problem with the OS, since it said something about installing an operating sytsemnto the hard drive. I did some diagnostics, the Memory test was good, but the HDD test was ended abruptly. Something about a SMART test and Long DST weren't installed. Took it out for repair. They attempted to reinstall the OS and inform us when done. After reinstalling, it still has the same problem. Apparently, it's not a software problem. I kinda feel more relieved AND fearful about this bit of news. Glad that it wasn't some program I used, but scared, since if the insides were damaged in some way... I fear the worst. I remember leaving it on before going for a haircut and coming back to see it in it's current state. Did it overheat and damage the Hard Drive or something? If anyone hasmsome insight regarding this, please tell me. Thank you.
  10. The title explains the obvious bit. Just saw new EqG trailer. Noticed the fluid animation in the Equestria part, one of DHX's best by far. More plot, the crown is apparently the Element of Magic, not just a generic McGuffin, and it was indeed Sunset Shimmer who stole it. The Human world part, to be reffered to as Part Girls, was... different somehow. It felt rather stiff, but nothing too distracting. Spike can talk, yay! Also, that quadrupedal bit cracked me up. Love those (not so) subtle bits. Kinda surprised to see Photo Finish in High School. Expected her to be older. *shrug* Then there's Girl Shimmer. That closing door scene gives me the creeps, I admit. I'm worried that Brad/Jock Fastflash/Flash Sentry doesn't make an appearance here. He felt pretty prominent in the first trailer. Not sure if that Pegasus guard at the beginning is him. I read some news of a leak, which seems legit (srsly) due to the spoilery screenshots I found on Reddit. Hope to see some input from skeptical Bronies who saw it. Curious. All in all, the trailer kept me optimistic, rather excited about it, really.
  11. It's one in the morning. It's also my last night sleeping this late, since school is quickly approaching in our country. I am trying my best to resist sleeping. Normally, I would be extremely bored at this moment, but some thought hit me on the head like a speeding bullet train so hard that I can't sleep. I have found, yet again, another story inspiration that'll probably stay in my head and never leave. Just the thought of that's kinda depressing, ideas that are never fully realized. It's schooltie soon, too, so I probably won't even have the time to at least write down a few words of the first chapter of this planned story, Agh! Ah well... I can't resist sleep forever, and my head is killing me. Goodnight.
  12. Most adorable robot ever! Reminds me of the Portal turrets for some reason. Inspired by Portal, hm? However, I do agree with Sugar Plum, but it's sleek, simple look is great too. It looks more futuristic, IMO. Good job! Really good job!
  13. Uhm. no. JASHT KEEDING HAR HAR HAR Of course I'd watch it! Season 3 was a good season, not as good as S2 imo, but it was a great treat to watch. I have little doubts that S4 will be just as good, if not better, what with S4 concluding the start of Twilight's new journey as a princess. The long LONG LONG wait is just making me even more excited. BRING IN THE PONY! ME!
  14. Wow... I've never seen the fandom so divided before as it is now. First, the Twilicorn fiasco and now this? I mean, I don't think even Derpygate was as bad as this. Some 'bronies' just don't get the message of the show, I guess. This is upsetting, indeed. Seriously the doubts some of you guys had about Canterlot Wedding were probably destroyed when you watched it, so why not learn not to judge something before it even releases? And this news about sending hate mail to the creators? That's just, low... Disappointed (biggest understatement ever) to see a fandom preaching love and tolerance to be so idiotic and hypocritical.
  15. The worst thing I've probably ever done was change the wallpaper of one of our school library's computers. It went against two school rules, but no one really noticed so I slipped by. I've checked it recently and it's still there. Hey, at least there's a penguin on your desktop. The most trouble I've probably gotten into was when I cut my classmate's hair in the middle of class. Yeah, I was pretty stupid. I was also pretty close to being dropped from our school's honour roll due to my penmanship. Not really related, but just thought I'd drop it in.
  16. SUH-LES-TIA SONG. SUH-LES-TIA SONG. WOOHOO! This is bee-yoo-tee-pooooooool. Crystal headdress! Celestial garments, lunar garments (which doesn't fit her, sorry 'bout that), SPARKLE PARENTS! Fluttershy recolours! Wedding parallel! Speech! Song reprise! A great reinforcement of all that Twilight has learned throughout the show! Kinda rushed, due to the songs, but the songs were good, so fair trade. Miss America's a better host than Tori Spelling. My head is flowing with random finale thoughts. The wait for next season is unbearable! We got the comics, though! I'll give a proper review tomorrow after second viewing.
  17. I enjoyed this one. More than Keep Calm and Flutter On, actually. ... Sorry guys. --- Review Random, spontaneous, unorganized thoughts I was right, this is parallel to Just For Sidekicks! AHA! That's a first for MLP FiM. Pinkie was adorable, but kinda dumb in this one. Seriously. Suspense, for some reason, was really high in this one. The Games Inspector was terrifying. I was excited for Dashddy (bad portmanteau), but he apparently only appeared in one scene. Oh well, good enough. Shining Armor was pretty good here. Glad to see his strict side, knowing he's the Capt. of the Royal Guard and all. The Mane 6 each have an important role to play in this one. Yay! Oh, and one of the lead ponies here was pretty much an unimportant, generic pony. She managed to have her own unique personality, though. Kudos to Dave Polsky! I dunno if the animation improved, or the Crystal Empire just has this effect on me, but this episode looked really good. --- Final Verdict Nothing bad to say in this one, other than Pinkie's stupidity, which I hope won't make its way to the finale and Season 4. Well, a 4.9/5 rating for thi one
  18. Adorable Sweetie Belle! Sky diving! Pets, up to no good! Continuity nods! OHMYGOSH, TANK! Angel being hilarious, and actually caring for Fluttershy. This is one of the greatest episodes of Season 3 IMHO. I simply adored it! Only Sleepless in Ponyville and the opening two-parter top this. Wait, Corey Powell, again! Two of my favourite episodes were written by a new writer! Amazing!
  19. This episode was decent, but it felt kinda rushed. Still pretty damn good, though, and I adore the smooth animation. New OTP: PinkieXGravy. Love that last line. "Go on... say it!" "Fine... Friendshipismagic".
  20. Well, this episode wasn't bad. I can say it's actually pretty good, but nothing too special (other than the Timberwolves). Now, EPISODE REVIEW! Things I liked: First of all, I love the animation in this one. It's amazing, especially for the timberwolves, and that balloon chase scene at the beginning. Next, the characterization was good, and seeing as it was done by Merriwether Williams, who I've noticed wasn't very good in that department (particularly Rarity), I'm impressed. Pacing's good, too, which I've noticed is a strong point in Williams' episodes. Things I didn't really like: Despite the other characters being spot-on in characterization, Twilight's zoning out, which I'll point out isn't new, felt... well, weird for her. Sure, it happened in Dragonshy, but even if Twilight was really focused, I'm pretty sure she didn't really take in much of what Fluttershy said since her voice was awfully soft. In this one, however, Spike's voice was pretty loud. Oh well, only Twilight can pull herself out of the Twilight Zone. That Noble Dragon Code thing, and how it retconned every other moment Spike's life was saved. I mean, so, Spike's like "Well, Twilight saved me before... Oh well, Applejack saved me, so now I pretty much have to be her slave. Oh, wait, Cadance saved me before, too! Hmm... Meh, Applejack's the orange one. I like orange."
  21. AJ's parents = stars? If Applejack's parents truly are stars, then these could mean one (or more) of the following: Everypony did attend (undoubtedly.) They're dead, and they're watching over their family (not sure how they'll deal with this if that's true, though.) One or both of them are unicorns, and are using their magic to create stars which watch over their family while they're away (currently my headcanon.) They became Alicorns who were sent by the Princess(es, if for some reason, the timeline's complex) to the sky and become stars to protect Equestria from the Darkness. (far-fetched, but still.) They aren't actually ponies, but they're deities of the highest order, higher than Celestia and Luna, and they chose to create the Apple family, who are secretly half-whatever they are, to guard Equestria ( far-fetched, maybe a bit too much.) Oh look at me, making fanfiction.
  22. LOOK! It's the anticipated Applejack song! I am... I can't comprehend the beauty of it all. Applejack's devotion to her family always warms my heart up. Oh, finally. This episode has a letter to Celestia. I've forgotten how they felt. Season three needs more letters. Fluttershy demands more letters.
  23. The nominations themselves aren't out yet, but a few lists of qualified films, like the qualified animated films, have been released. Les Miz was screened earlier, both publicly and for critics, and according to these three lists, both Anna and Les Miz are eligible for nomination.
  24. So, what are some of your predictions for next year's Oscars? I've got high bets that "Anna Karenina" will definitely be nominated for Best Production Design (previously Art Direction), or maybe even win. Probably for Best Adapted Screenplay as well. I also have high hopes Anne Hathaway and/or Samantha Barks from Les Miz, as Fantine and Eponine respectively, will land a spot in the Best Supporting Actresses Nominees. Your thoughts?
  25. 1st of all: YAY! SCOOTALOO EPISODE! Nothing can possibly steal the show for me! Anyways, it was a great episode. We get some sisterly bonding, more of Sweetie Belle singing, and Rarity was totally awesome. Oh, and Luna. So I guess that first statement was a total lie. I thought she'll just get some cameo (and then become the new Derpy (which she kind of did, considering they were both minor characters with wings voiced by Tabitha St. Germain that stole the show)), but, again, I was wrong. And I do not regret it a single bit. Now, Luna's not only the Moon Princess, but the Princess of Dreams as well. Still, knowing that one of your two rulers can easily enter your dreams, and then find some things you don't want others to know, is kind of terrifying, but Luna uses that power well. I hope. Season Three is just getting better each episode. I was hoping for some rainbow eating, though.
