My name is... Unimportant. I've learned enough hard lessons of the web to know that displaying my name is a retarded approach. So just call me by my gaming name; Gus. I'm a student, working in literature, but failing miserably, and I'm obssessed with the Comic Sans font.
I suppose the best introduction would be my favorite ponies list. So here goes, I suppose.
1) Rarity - Betcha weren't expecting this! Yes, I love Rarity. I honestly can't understand why anybody wouldn't. The only possible clue is that she's a beauty queen. but what's so bad about that? She's a hard worker, and isn't so much of a jerk that she claims to be better than all other ponies!
I think I can relate to her mostly because of her insane frustration issues. Sees something that annoys me, gasps out loud, grinds teeth, smiles it off, moves on. We're like two pees in a pod. Not a difference in the world.
I also feel sorry for her, sometimes. She works sooooo hard. Harder than most ponies ever would or could, AND she stills makes time for her friends. That takes effort. But even worse is the fact that she never gets recognized for her time. All that sweat and hard work she put into that dress she spent two months on? Who cares, Fluttershy is a good model. Let's ignore Rarity and divert all of our attention to her. And she still cheers on the friend who stole her thunder? And people call her selfsish.
2) Fluttershy - There is nothing I can't relate to with her. She's timid, shy, blah, blah, all those other cliches. But there are other things. Like her love for animals, and her low confidence around other ponies. We both scream like little girls, raise chickens, and have a pretty intimidating stare.
Fluttershy is basically me! Except she's a pony.... and a... a girl...
3) Twilight Sparkle - I don't know. I used to hate her. Now... It may have to do with all those comics I saw of her dying as Princess Celestia read her last.. her last... I need a moment here...
Plus, both of us only accept the tangible, metaphysical reality. We can't put our faith in things that couldn't make any sense if looked at by any other perception besides science. That may be why I got "Twilight Sparkle" on the pony test. I guess I am just like her when you boil it down.
4) Pinkie Pie - Gawd, what's there not to like about Pinkie Pie? She's 70% of the show's comedy. If only she didn't sing so much, and I wouldn't have to keep muting the TV.
5) Applejack - I do not hate this pony, but she's just... Well... She's sort of annoying. Yes, Rarity is my favorite pony, and I consider Applejack of all things to be annoying. But she's just so... difficult. She represents the element of honesty, but she always seems to lie and lie and lie.
But, as I said, I don't hate her. She's pretty cool. But she's not me at all! She's everything I want to be, though. (Brace yourself for sentimental bull) She inspires me to do better. Get better. And she makes me feel better.
6) Rainbow Dash - Again, I hate NO ponies. But Rainbow Dash is such a pony Naruto! Her self esteem is higher than a freakin' kite. Her intentions are always to kick the heck out of this, or beat the heck out of that! She's so violent and overbearing. I can't stand it sometimes. But I still find her to be a good pony, if not difficult at times.
But that doesn't mean I hate her! All ponies are equal! Some are just more equal than others...
And dat's all! Hope I become a respected member of the site...
...Please don't hate me for not liking Rainbow Dash as much as other ponies! I know that's a crime punishable by death!
