  1. Well, at least you are voicing your own opinion, but when I imagine you saying the words in this quote, I keep on imagining you sounding like either the Angry Video Game Nerd or the Nostalgia Critic, or even Keenan Wynn (Alonzo Hawk from Herbie Rides Again and the Winter Warlock from Santa Claus is Comin to Town). There are actually some movies that the Nostalgia Critic reviewed that I actually like, such as Little Nemo: Adventures in Slumberland. Firstly, I was quite skeptical of the show's decision to reform a villain, largely due to the fact that in some shows, villains never change or make a 180 degree turn. A prime example of this would be the old 1960s Batman show. The first set of episodes that The Joker appeared in, called "The Joker is Wild" and "Batman is Riled", the warden and Chief O' Hara believed that The Joker was reformed, only they were wrong, as the Joker plotted a prison break and created some crime waves all over Gotham City. But I believe they were trying to tell their version of the story of how Saul, a man that consistently persecuted Christians in The Bible, was encountered by Jesus Christ in the desert and became God's chosen tool to spread the good name of Jesus Christ, oh, and he was renamed to Paul. I was also kind of expecting Discord to hit Fluttershy, sending her flying into a tree and getting knocked unconscious, just so I can shake my monitor yelling "Speak to me!!!" like Boris Grishenko in Goldeneye, and then after Discord creates chaos, I give myself self abuse and try to make my knuckles bleed because I would believe freedom in Equestria is dead because of Celestia's foolish decision to reform Discord. But the episode took a way friendlier approach, having Fluttershy see Discord for what he can be rather than for what he did, after all, Discord had the hardest time corrupting her. She just had to be a sweetheart to Discord just to change him. I tried to be like that with Osama bin Ladin when I tried to write a letter telling him about Christianity and stuff, but my family never sent the letter, and pity Osama, because he's dead. Also, I like Care Bears, but I don't like some of their newer outings. By the way, some movies other people hate I like, such as Batman Forever, Rudolph's Shiny New Year, We're Back: A Dinosaur's Story, and I believe Cars 2 might be on that list as well, even though I did believe it was Pixar's weakest outing. What I mean to say is, I love the episode, yet I wonder why the writers, I mean the writers, not the Princess, would decide to reform Discord? I think the answer may be that I recall a certain animation writer that existed named Romeo Muller, he wrote the Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer special from Rankin Bass, and a reoccuring theme in some of Rankin Bass' filmography is that the villain manages to get reformed. Heck, see what Santa Claus did with the Winter Warlock to reform him? He offered him kindness and gave him a toy choo choo train. Romeo Muller loved trains, and so do I.
  2. Whoa, Lunashy, a little harsh there! Hasbro is primarily a big corporation whose goal is to make money off of merchandise and film and TV content creation. Yet they have been listening to us bronies, as a matter of fact, they gave several independent companies the permission to create merchandise targeted towards bronies, which is why several brony merchandise has been popping up at your local Hot Topic. Sure, I like a lot of what Season 3 had to offer, but the only episodes that seemed to be lackluster to me this season were Sleepless in Ponyville, Spike at Your Service, and maybe Apple Family Reunion. The only thing I found bad about the two parter this season was that the villain was disappointing. On Equestria Daily, search for why Season 3 was cut in half. Make no mistake, this season may not be as good as the other seasons were, but it sure is awesome, considering that we got both Trixie and Discord back.
  3. Every time a season gets done, I pretty much work on my MLP movie script, because each season adds new material for me to work with. When something in the show gets established or created, I modify my script in order to keep up with the official canon. I wasn't even planning to have Discord as the villain in my movie, I was planning to create my own villain. Now that this episode has aired, it would be cool to see Discord using his powers to help fight a war against evil, and since Fluttershy is his only friend, only Fluttershy can convince him to help fight.

  5. Dear all, I've put into full swing a new series starring an adorable red monster puppet called Dunwitty. What he's doing in this series is teaching both kids and adults how to use the tech around them efficiently and to the fullest extent, as well as educating them about the tech around them and how past tech has influenced today's tech, for example, 1950s television sets influenced today's big screen LED TVs, and the 1980s NES influenced the Wii U and Xbox 360. The first two episodes have already been made, with more to come. Enjoy the first two episodes for your viewing pleasure: Episode 1: Windows 8: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D_nAQb66xto Episode 2: How to Hook Up a Christmas Lights Display: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S1eDulBrKzc Episode 3: How to Install a Printer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QPLinXA7M0s Remember, this show is meant for the entire family, and not just for tech geeks like myself, so don't be surprised when Dunwitty teaches stuff like How to Install a Printer. Watch it and tell me what you think. The puppet featured in episode 2 and onward is credit to http://onhandbyhand.weebly.com/ Actually, puppet makers Sarah Hainsworth and Susan Jaussi of said shop are credit for the puppet. I even made an intro for the series, and the theme song is Derezzed by Daft Punk. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did making the intro: www.youtube.com/watch?v=2zSF73crO5k Developed for Youtube by Jordan White (aka alternatekennesaw or MrDunwittyJ on Youtube, and sampsoninc916 on MLP Forums). I don't know why the intro video failed to embedded in the post like you could watch it right within the post?
  6. What I mean is that some people are so vulnerable that they can die just from falling down the stairs or just from falling down on the floor or something minor in the likes of that. Well, I fell down the stairs once and I never died. I even fell out of a tree onto the ground, and yet I'm still kicking. I seemed to watch this video once of a story set in the late 19th century I think, where this girl fell down on the floor whilst playing with her sister I think, and she was maybe knocked unconscious or probably died. There's also a story by Upton Sinclair written in 1905 or 1906 where it has a scene where a little boy falls through a grater in a New York City street and dies. How can you die from that? I would be hurt if I fell through a grater in a New York City street, but I wouldn't die, dead gum it! Oh, what does Transformers have to do with My Little Pony? THEY'RE BOTH OWNED BY THE SAME COMPANY, HASBRO!!!
  7. As you can recall, in A Canterlot Wedding Part 2, Princess Celestia bravely and boldly, since she's so loving and caring about her subjects, attempts to defend them from Queen Chrysalis by using her powerful magic. The show, nor do I, believe that she's a goddess, yet she is never a weakling at all too. Only through sucking up so much love was Chrysalis able to overpower Celestia. Yet every time someone says "overpower", "defeat", and "beat" in that sense, I almost always think of death, killed, not coming back. But how did she even survive that magical blast. I know the show establishes that she was just knocked out, but what I want to know is how she managed to survive. Why exactly did the writers go for such a thing? If they were allowed to, why didn't they kill off Celestia the way they killed off Optimus Prime in the animated Transformers movie from 1986? I wonder how humans even survive getting knocked out. I believe the reason I'm asking this is that I don't know what it feels like to be knocked out with a blow, and also, I don't think that a pretty pony such as Celestia deserves to be killed off so easily like a 98 pound weakling, or hurt so badly. Traditionally, women and female characters tend to feel more vulnerable than men, which is why I don't have a problem with James Bond getting knocked out, hurt, or almost killed, and yet he manages to kick honey buns all the time. If I was a faithful student of Celestia, I would ask her to love me and give me reassurance about many of the worries that I have, because it's a bad thing if you worry too much about something that's not related to you. If you give me decent and acceptable answers on this problem, as well as reassurance, I won't have any problems too much with A Canterlot Wedding anymore, and I believe the reason why I have only 2 problems with it is because it is so good, like excellent.
  8. Yeah, but a YouTube user named mushume3 that I sent a message too, whose real name is Tom Bancroft and has a reel of various 2D computer colored Disney movies that he worked on, including The Lion King, Pocahontas, Hercules, and Mulan, says that digital hand drawn animation is quite common, and Toon Boom is the industry standard. He's currently busy with client work and considering his expertise with Disney animation, I would love for him to do some 2D digital animation Disney style for me because Disney and Pixar have some of the best animators in the world. When I say digital hand drawn animation, I mean it's drawn on a graphics tablet or Wacom Cintiq pen display in a program like Photoshop, and then playing all the drawings back on a computer screen at the proper frame rate, as well as painting the backgrounds in Photoshop, and compositing the drawings in digitally, with multiplane stuff in Toon Boom, if you are going for a stereoscopic 3D movie. Just want to give you a heads up on the whole computer animation thing.
  9. Looks like many of you actually tolerated the 2D style CGI Timberwolves in a Flash animated cartoon. I can completely understand what you guys are saying. I wonder if they should start using a more modern version of Flash, upgrade their servers, or even start using Toon Boom to animated the stuff. Do they use Maya, because South Park is animated in Maya? I wonder what creatures will come out of this show next? Were the Timberwolves too scary for kids or just the right amount of scary?
  10. I don't hate CGI, as a matter of fact, The Lord of the Rings trilogy pushed the boundaries of 3D CGI effects by adding Gollum and the most advanced rendered creatures up to that point. Avatar, though I kinda hate it because of ripping off Ferngully, Pocahontas, and Dances with Wolves, pushed the boundaries again with its motion capture humanoid Smurfs. Weta Digital, the company behind all this, has an R&D department that continues to innovate on this technology. Now of course, CGI sometimes ruins a movie, and probably the worst CGI scene, in my opinion, is the parachute surfing scene in Die Another Day (thank gracious for Skyfall doing it right, even though the CGI komodo dragon was obvious). My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, as some of you may know, is done using Flash, a 2D animation software that lets the animator create 2D animation all within the computer. Yet during Spike at Your Service, me, and so many other folks watching the episode, noticed that the Timberwolves were 3D computer generated characters, albeit 2D to fit with the whole scheme of My Little Pony. Should I be bothered by it, because I really wasn't bothered too much by it, yet like the fact that Timberwolves regenerate themselves and turn into bigger creatures. When I saw that, I kinda wanted to go crazy, yet realized that in The Monster Squad, the Wolfman regenerates its limbs when it dies. Would this be a jumping the shark moment for MLP:FIM? I wouldn't want the show to jump the shark too soon, but I know that it will eventually. Some people hated the CGI timberwolves, but I believe that's a matter of opinion. At least the show is doing some new things, because it's budget may be improving, yet I shouldn't expect someone like Joseph Gordon Lewitt or Christian Bale on the show. I hope you follow me, but what opinions do some of you guys have on the CGI timberwolves?
  11. In Wonderbolts Academy, the show proved that pegasus ponies not only have the ability to walk on cloud, but also dive in, get stuck, mold, plush, and even slide on clouds. I still don't understand how Rainbow Dash is able to make a solid cloud to save her friends, considering the fact that they were still under that spell from Sonic Rainboom that enabled them to walk on clouds. But yet I have an OC unicorn, Emerald Wishes, a timid, green, smart, often nervous unicorn, but he's very sweet and kind and has a heart of gold. Under the tutorship of Princess Celestia, whom he worries about her safety, which Celestia responds, "Don't worry, Emerald, I have the power and the skilled ponies to fight off any threat that comes to Equestria. I haven't lost my ability to fight." He also looks up in the sky and sees pegasus ponies flying gracefully and fiddling around on clouds, which he wonders about their softness and comfortableness, considering the fact that he gets quite anxious sometimes and requests something that will feel quite amazing against his body. In short, he wants to feel the sensation of a cloud in order to calm him down, and to have the feeling of being able to fly really fast without wearing out as much as you would if you were running on all four hooves. And considering that he has a relationship with Princess Celestia, the most powerful equine in all of Equestria, both magicwise and statuswise, he would like to ask her royal highness for a pair of wings like a pegasus pony's in order to grant his little wish, if he manages to help save Equestria by using friendship or something like that, like the show says, yet this show was never about battling, fighting, and kicking booty. Do you think clouds can be a good place for you to calm down and feel extremely comfortable.
  12. Thanks again, for giving me great answers. I did, however, upload the Fluttershy Bronystate chat reactions to YouTube, if you can search for them. Thanks again, for giving me great answers. I did, however, upload the Fluttershy Bronystate chat reactions to YouTube, if you can search for them. Oh, actually, here's the link to the chat reactions: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jafQEFkCJuo
  13. I've watched the latest episode, and its good that their keeping the continuity of Rainbow Dash wanting to be a Wonderbolt, but how dumb are the Wonderbolts? Apparently Spitfire has wings, and yet somehow she didn't even know that Lightning Dust was being reckless and violent until Rainbow Dash told her about it. Don't the Wonderbolts have security to make sure no one cheats or becomes violent, or does Spitfire just stay on top of that colossal mountain plateau, waiting for the team to come back and time them? I mean, the whole episode had a Top Gun vibe to it, and that is a classic 80s movie. And yet Equestria, heck the pony world to be honest, does not have security camera technology to make sure nopony does anything wrong? So do you really think the whole lesson this episode is giving is if you notice that someone is doing something wrong or even breaking the rules, that you should tell someone you trust, like for Rainbow Dash, it's Spitfire?
  14. Thank you for answering my questions. I'm actually quite all right now. By the way, I'm now under a new YouTube username, known as MrDunwittyJ. My channel is here: http://www.youtube.com/user/MrDunwittyJ Well, of course I did upload the clip of Scootaloo encountering Princess Luna in the latest episode. How would I not? It's so awesome to see Luna actually getting a role in this series.
  15. I really can't get my mind off Twilight's mistake in A Canterlot Wedding Part 1. Would your friends and relatives hate you forever and not be in your presence again if you made a mistake like that, or would they want to you learn your lesson and basically still love you no matter what? There's this thing called unconditional love, I'm pretty sure some of you heard of it. It's where even though you make mistakes, your friends and relatives still love you and want the best for you. My parents and siblings are like that, but are many of the ponies of Equestria and both of the royal sisters are even like that, as in, do they express the traits of unconditional love? Why does the fanbase, quite kind and loving they are, sometimes have to write stuff that is so warped and mentally unstable? Oh, apparently, I seem to be on a roll having my concerns about the show answered by a wonderful community. Sorry for the double post, but I need to have very reasonable answers to my question. Just be decent, and be loving, and you'll earn my appreciation.
  16. At least you guys are trying to make things better for me, yet several of you guys are making humourous jokes such as Blueblood, the snob, having a head-in-flank disease and yes, I seem to understand why a female would be better at ruling a nation. I even stated in my original post that I believed that I was being irrational, and I was. So yes, this post that I made doesn't make sense, so I believe I should be posting on this forum someplace else, maybe even the discussion on the latest episode.
  17. 3. Well, I presume that they wanted Twilight to learn a little lesson about not acting like she did, and then come back and give her some comfort and loving because they stuck by her for so long, they wouldn't even dare leave her forever because of just acting a little childish.
  18. Actually, my question is three questions. I'm not asking if Celestia hasn't personally defeated more enemies, because I know she has. But here are my questions: 1. When will Celestia prove that she's a force to be reckoned with among enemies of Equestria and still be the most powerful Equine in that country, magicwise. 2. When will the Elements of Harmony be used again? They haven't been used ever since Discord literally turned Ponyville upside down. 3. Why do I want Celestia, Twilight's friends, and Shining Armor to love Twilight no matter what she does, even barging in childishly and making accusations against a fake bride?
  19. It seems that the show has a hard time establishing which power is the greatest in the pony world, including the country of Equestria. Saddle Arabia is a country, much like Equestria, so Equestria is a country. However, I was thinking that Twilight Sparkle, during her exile in Magic Duel, would warn Celestia about Trixie's takeover of Ponyville, soon to be Equestria, and she would ask the mane 6 to use the Elements of Harmony, because those things haven't been used since Discord turned Ponyville upside down. I also wanted Princess Celestia to come in and defeat Trixie just to make up to the fans for getting defeated by Queen Chrysalis and reestablishing herself as the most powerful equine in Equestria. But neither of the above happened. When is Celestia going to prove that she's a force to be reckoned with among the enemies of Equestria and that she, Twilight's friends, and Shining Armor all love Twilight no matter what she does? The Elements of Harmony were only used twice in this series, and they were not used three times, against Chrysalis, King Sombra, and Trixie. Why don't they throw the Elements of Harmony away in the trash? Why do I want Celestia to make a comeback and makeup to the fans for losing to Queen Chrysalis by actually kicking the booty of a bad guy or monster, yet I found over the course of five new episodes that it never happened? Luna hardly does anything on this show, compared to Celestia, who's done quite a good bunch in this show. I keep on thinking that the royal sisters should just step down from power and have a real alicorn stallion take the reins of ruling Equestria. One where the subjects are certain that he'll be all right, because when he gets beaten, he gets back up. Why did Celestia die twice and resurrect herself twice in A Canterlot Wedding Part 2? An alicorn stallion never should die so easily against an attack from the Changeling Queen. Why do I want Celestia, Twilight's friends, and Shining Armor to love her no matter what she does? I don't want pure hatred (I don't mean fake hatred) among allies on this show, because this show is all about friendship and loyalty, not the opposite. -P.S. I believe I'm being irrational here, but I would like decent answers to my questions anyway, yet I did have a dream a few nights ago that reindeer existed in Equestria. Tis' the season, bronies.
  20. I've seemed to have settled on a few of my issues with the show and its fanbase, but what seems to happen to me is that I seem to think that worse things will happen than what is actually shown on the show? For instance, every time they say defeat in the stance of battle or fighting, I always keep on thinking death, like physical death or total outcast. When Celestia lost/got defeated by Queen Chrysalis, I honestly thought she was dead and it was all Twilight Sparkle's fault. How does one survive something like that? And some fans say that when you get put in a Changeling cocoon, you turn into a Changeling, when in actuality the show made it as a little prison for Celestia. Heck, before A Canterlot Wedding aired, I thought that there was going to be a scene where Celestia gives Twilight Sparkle a beating for warning her about something, and it was all based on a scene in Goodfellas where the main character says that every once in a while he had to take a beating and that everyone takes a beating sometimes. I kinda thought that would happen when Twilight walked in the door of fears in The Crystal Empire. When I watched the latest episode on bullying, I thought Babs Seed was going to give the Cutie Mark Crusaders a beating, make them bleed a good bit, or downright kill one of them, or even frame them for murder, and I didn't get any of that in the episode, even if I was expecting it. I think the reason why I seemed to expect it may have been the Cobra Kai people in the Karate Kid and even the bullies from the first Toxic Avenger. In the Karate Kid, John Creese tells Terry Silvers to make Daniel Narusso's knuckles bleed, and in the Toxic Avenger, there's a scene where the bullies run over someone in their car, then back up to squish the person's head, and then take a picture of it, and they also throw a guy they dressed in a tutu out a window where he happens to land in some toxic waste and become The Toxic Avenger. About the framing for murder, a more harmless example is Babes in Toyland (1986) starring Drew Barrymore, Keanu Reaves, Pat Morita, and Richard Mulligan. In that movie, Richard Mulligan plays Barnaby, and one of his plans is to frame his nephew, Jack Be Nimble, for cookie stealing, which of course is ridiculous. Is this the disadvantage of being an adult? That whenever you watch a kid's show, your knowledge of stuff that happens in more adult oriented shows take hold and then you expect some uber violent or uber mean content? This is just a reply to myself, yet I kinda want people to pay attention to this. This is such a psychological issue, especially for someone with autism such as myself. Oh, and how come I was expecting in One Bad Apple for Babs Seed to actually say something to the Cutie Mark Crusaders something similar to what the Angry Video Game Nerd would say when he gets angry over a game, like creative cursing or something, like what he does?
  21. Fluttershy ends up getting her booty kicked in jousting. Looks like someone got it worse than Celestia, who I was disappointed that she didn't come in and kick King Sombra's booty just to make up to the fans for losing to Chrysalis. Besides, how did she even survive Chrysalis' attack? I am glad, though, that they didn't take many of my ideas for the actual movie. All my ideas are classified right now.
  22. My gosh, Twilight's worst fears are basically my worst fears, my loved ones hating me for anything I did or didn't do. I'm starting to wonder if Twilight Sparkle, compared to Fluttershy, is the pony that is a lot like me. I never even expected that in the episode, with Twilight Sparkle walking through a door that leads to her worst fear, Celestia getting ticked off at Twilight or failing the test.
  23. This is a fanfic featuring my OC character, Emerald Wishes, who is basically me as a pony. Enjoy reading. Author’s note: As short as this fanfic is, I plan to have further adventures with my OC pony, Emerald Wishes.
  24. Disney seems to be on a buying spree as of late. The company is in talks (only in talks) with Hasbro to buy them, and yet they've already bought ABC, ESPN, Pixar, Muppets, Marvel, and LucasFilm Ltd. The fact is that I seem to now know why each of these are owned by Disney, and logical reasons exist for that: ABC: Even back when Walt Disney was alive, he used ABC to broadcast his stuff on that network. ESPN: Don't exactly know why, yet ESPN seems to be operating completely all right on its own. Pixar: Pixar went to Disney to help them distribute Toy Story and their early feature films, so it makes sense for them to be owned by Disney. Muppets: Jim Henson wanted to recreate the magic of When You Wish Upon a Star when he called Paul Williams to write Rainbow Connection. Two Muppet movies before the 2004 buyout were made under Disney. One of the last projects Jim Henson did before he died was a special where The Muppets went to Disney World, and there's a scene featuring Kermit the Frog and Mickey Mouse in the same shot. Marvel: At first I didn't know why they bought Marvel, but now I know why. Disney in recent years seems to be getting a reputation for being a girls brand, so buying Marvel to increase their boy audience because of it made sense, yet even before the launch of the Disney Princess brand, I watched those films, and felt completely fascinated by the craft of the way the animated it, computer or not, which makes me want to go into animation. Lucafilm Ltd: It may have been shocking, but now that I think about it, it shouldn't be. A Star Wars attraction and an Indiana Jones attraction have been at Disney World years before the current buyout, and sometimes before this tween stuff arose on Disney Channel (with the exception of Phineas and Ferb, Gravity Falls, and the upcoming Wander Over Yonder) Disney would air the Star Wars movies on their channels. Oh, I've been to both attractions at Disney World, back in 2002, when I went there with my family. So if (I really mean if) Disney buys Hasbro, it would be for good reasons. Yet all everybody (everypony) talks about is Transformers and GI:JOE when it comes to Hasbro. Disney might focus only on those two brands and focus less on some of the other brands. Guess they don't know a thing about bronies or our fandom yet. They would be in for a serious shock if they do find out. Love to see Bob Iger's face when he finds out.
  25. I can see what all of you guys are talking about. For young autistic people such as myself, it's pretty simple for us to get worked up over something that isn't even related to the progress of our everyday lives. Heck, there may be a person like me out there who is probably getting a little worked up over Obama getting 4 more years of the presidency just because they're Republican and they don't really agree with ObamaCare. All the companies I have mentioned are pretty much subsidiaries of Disney, much like how Gatorade or Fanta or Mountain Dew may be a subsidiary of Coca-Cola, yet they don't dare call them Gatorade Coke or Fanta Coke or Mountain Dew Coke, because that would mess up their profits. You might find me getting worked up over something not related to me in the future on this forum. Thank gracious for my drug prescriptions, which I'll pick up today. Right now, I'm waiting for some folks to do a little study session with me for Economics, yet I'll still monitor this topic.
