I chose to learn Latin at school and actually got my Latinum last year, but it was one hell of a ride.
I'm glad I didn't choose to continue it in my A levels, it might sound like a cool language at first, but trust me, you won't want to torture yourself by learning it.
At least that's my attitude towards it.
I have to admit though that Latin is quite a logical and fairly simple language to learn. Probably the fact that you don't speak it makes it somewhat more difficult.
Nun steh ich hier ich armer Tor und bin so klug als wie zuvor. Seriously, I hardly know anything anymore. I don't really care though.
There are professors who can speak fluent Latin, it must be crazy. I take like 5 hours just to translate one sentence.
Now German is an interesting language. If you are considering to take a closer look at it, you better be good at languages in overall, because it is one of the most difficult ones to learn. Or at least so I heard. I dunno, I can't judge, I already speak German.
Which is why I can tell you: German singing can be OK. There are actually some nice songs. Just to list a few:
Frida Gold - Wovon sollen wir Träumen
Die Toten Hosen - Tage wie diese
Silbermond - Irgendwas Bleibt
Feel free to check them out.

It depends, some nights it can take me up to 1 hour to fall asleep, other times I fall asleep within 10 minutes or less.
My average is probably somewhere around 20 minutes.

I was sitting and thinking of what username to pick. I spent like two hour just looking out of the window, trying to come up with something pony related that sounds ok.
I ended up with my current name because I like Pegasi and "Companion" sounded neutral and started with a "C" too.

Brown.
Both my parents have brown eyes, so this doesn't come as a surprise. My brother has brown eyes as well, pretty much all of my family members have.

Mine pretty much always looks like this. I've got an old 5:4 Monitor on a second table, because there's no space to put it on my desk in a manner that makes sense. (it always either get's in the way of my speakers or mouse)
There is also a second Laptop still waiting to be repaired, but it's the same game as with the monitor. There's no space to use it productively. I'll have to come up with something.
Apart from that my desk is usually clean, though during some periods it can be a bit messy because I need to focus on school and just dump my stuff everywhere, eat at my desk and don't clean up because I'm lacking the necessary free time etc. etc.
The desk itself is from Infineon, my dad got it as a present and he gave it to me.
All my accessories are located in my drawer, together with pencil and paper and some cleaning material. (Isopropanol)
I don't have any printer.

I'm not afraid of telling others, though I don't shove it down their throats.
So why are some ponies scared? Well, my friends call me gay and stuff like that, so that could be a reason.
Other than that nobody cares. My parents don't care, my friends don't care, I would walk to school with a Fluttershy hoodie any day.
Usually, there's no reason to be scared, I have found that hardly anybody cares. However, there are always some extreme cases, but if you're in that kind of situation, you'd know anyway and it would of course be the best thing to keep it a secret.

In no particular order:
1. Elevators
Those things are evil, I'm telling you. I ALWAYS use the escalator if possible, if not I take the stairs.
2. Giving speeches
Even though I totally freak out just before the speech, I can still deliver a decent presentation. Usually.
3. Spiders
I don't mind having a snake around my neck, but when it comes to spiders...

Nothing can compare to the IBM ThinkPad 600X. (from 1999)
It's basically everything a good laptop should be, it even has good speakers! Runs like a charm with Windows 2000, I have replaced it with a ThinkPad X301 which is very similar, but just not the same.
Of course, quality like that came at a price, some configurations cost up to 13000DM which is 6500€ which equals 8500$.
Oh glorious touchpadless times...
