Single Player, definitely. I've had bad experiences with online multiplayer these days, cause the majority are either people who take it WAAAAY too seriously, people who cheat, or people who bail the second they might lose. -

Random and probably silly question, but I've been wondering this for a while now. While G4 was airing, it was more often known as MLP: FIM or just FIM for "Friendship Is Magic." So, by that logic, shouldn't G5 also be called MLP: ANG or just ANG for "A New Generation" as well? -

Personally, I don't like how the movie got rid of Argyle so fast. I absolutely adored the opening scenes with him and Sunny and would have loved to see more of him being such a great dad, so when the camera panned and focused on his glasses and pendant sitting on the mantle, my heart fell. -
Just finished watching the movie, and I gotta say I really enjoyed it. It's clear that plenty of heart and soul went into capturing what we all loved about Friendship is Magic, and I'd say they succeeded. I do have a few gripes and questions though... One, I don't like that they went the Disney route and had Sunny's dad die during the time skip. I feel like that was an unnecessary bit of drama, and I would have loved to see more interactions between the two. Two, did Sunny actually become an Alicorn in the end, or was that just a one-time symbolic power-up granted to her by the three crystals? I mean, the wings and horns themselves look more like magical projections than actual solid limbs to me. While I wouldn't be entirely opposed to her becoming an alicorn, I'm personally hoping she stays an Earth Pony after this. Three, why did early promotional material give so much attention to Pipp alongside Sunny and Izzy, when Zipp was much more the third member of their little trio? Other than that, this was certainly a great way to kick off G5, and I'm looking forward to hopefully more in the future!

Quick, non-spoilery review of the movie:
I liked it. The story was a bit formulaic in places, but the heart and soul were certainly still there. The jokes were very on point, and the fluidness of the animation made every character feel truly alive and unique. I do have a few unresolved questions about the ending, but this was certainly an excellent way to kick of G5 nonetheless. If this is but a preview of things to come, then I'm hopeful for the future.
