Eclipse

Eclipse was born with a condition that made her unable to withstand any bright light, able to see without any light. Her parents and twin sister, Solstice  watched out for her. She had to wear protection from the sun and it’s light. The other ponies would talk when they thought she couldn’t hear them, saying that she's a vampire or another creature of the night. She would come home miserable and Dark would come in, sit next to her, and cheer her up.

 She stopped going outside after a few years of being called evil. Her parents tried to get her out of the house more, but that made it grow worse. She locked her door and wouldn’t talk to her parent, the only she told them was that they didn’t understand her and only her sister did. They spent years keeping each other company.

One day she came home with a strange book. The book was black with a silver lace around the spine with no name or picture on the front or back. She opened it up to see a bunch of spells that weren’t in the other books that she read.

She wanted to try the spells, but they sounded dangerous, after her life grew worse with the town, she couldn’t take it anymore.She took the book, her cloak, and a mask hide help with the light and left. As she was about to leave, she was confronted by her sister to come with her.  She agree to have him come with her, for protection and company. She looked at the map that she stole and decided that they should head to badlands to avoid hurting anypony until she learned what the spells do. After a few months of being away from civilization, and practicing her magic while defending them from changelings. They decided to move to Manehatten, where she could live without a problem. Once they got to their house, they took off their cloak to see that they had cutie marks.

Her sister got a good position to help the city and protect her. Once she got there, she was nervous that she would be called evil, but she went the entire day without a dirty look to her. She finally came home without crying, and got a job at the library.
