• Billowing *Smokey* Smoke.

    Blitz Boom

    • Age: 25

      Gender: Male

      Species: Unicorn

      Appearance:
Physical things not depicted clearly: The feather isn't actually silver, it's just very shiny. Also, his jacket haves a pocket on each side.

      Cutie Mark:
Cutie Mark: A pedestal surrounded by smoke. Shows his talent for both smoke based magic and adventuring.

      Personality:
Personality: Knowing and more than willing to share, polite to a point, tends to be sarcastic at times, prideful to some extend, and overall a rather happy and pleasant pony to be around for most. He speaks with a friendly, sometimes slightly taunting voice, and likes to be a little theatrical, depending on the situation.

He also haves a harder side underneath the pleasantries though, that tends to pop up if he needs to be a hard case on some. In those cases his eyes and way of speaking becomes harder and more direct, though he doesn't stay this for long. Mostly just to get a point across, as even during fights he tends to be his more delightful self.

      Backstory:
Birthplace: Euestria, in the city of Dodge Junction.

Occupation: Adventurer, and supplier to the black and grey markets.

Special Powers: Smokey have been a heavy user of smoke-based magic for so long that even his telekinesis and magic aura is grey like a light smoke cloud. He tends to usually form smoke from his horn and either make a smokescreen, or manipulate the smoke, sometimes to more solid objects with the help of general telekinesis, though it will look as if the hands of whatnot is made solely of smoke.

If he uses too much magic at once, he will have an overload of sorts that will result in his eyes going completely white and small clouds pass by them in intervals. He can't see unless one of the clouds pass over his eyes in that state, and it can be anywhere from a few minutes to days before his sight is okay again.

Brief history: There's not much to speak about in his early years. He were born in Dodge Junction and spent most of his days helping with the cherries or wishing he could be somewhere that wasn't so deafeningly boring.

When he became 15, whilst out tilling the fields one morning, he fell over a phoenix with an injured wing that were being circles by coyotes. His's flames were not doing much to keep them at bay and it didn't look good, until Smokey came around and chased the canines away from the rare creature. It took some time for him to trust the pony, but eventually, the bird did let him get near enough to pick him up and lead him back home, where Smokey spend his free time usually training his magic, and did what he could to make it to a place where the bird could rest up and heal without others finding it.

Took a while of him feeding and taking care of the bird, but eventually, his wing were mended. Smokey figured this the last he'd see of the bird, but instead it sat on his shoulder and urged him to go forward. Then keeping at it with only a few swings here and there as it lead him on through the desert around town to some mountains.

Ponies at home didn't see him again for three years before he suddenly trotted back into town with a whistle, adorning new clothes, looking quite a bit more grown up and looking as happy as could be. His parent were surely surprised to see him again after the years without contact, but after a few hours of back and forth as you'd expect, things settled down. Until the stallion they rented the house from came around, looking for his rent that were. Things hadn't looked good on their fields for a time, and as it stood, he were going to end up tossing 'em out. That is, if Smokey hadn't just laughed it off, pulling forth a small pouch of diamonds and tossed it at him with the words *This place is theirs now. Do we agree?"

He told those that asked how he had gotten riches such as that, he told them that he were an adventurer now, and that he were being rewarded well for finding things of historical significance, plus some of the sites he ventured into had riches of no historical value, which he considered bonuses. Since they couldn't disprove it, they went with it.

Truth is, that whilst he did get rewarded some for the things he found, and that yes, diamonds and the like were occasionally something he found, he had earned this and so much more by selling the less important stuff to the grey and black markets, where he had started to make quite a name for himself as a supplier of infrequent, but worthwhile items.

Still, nopony outside of those places knows. Nor the citizens of his former home, not any authority, and certainly not his parents, who still lives in the old town, but with no worries of going bankrupt, courtesy of their son. He himself have an estate in Canterlot, though he is rarely there, so he have hired his cousin to watch over the place when he's gone. She have some idea of what he does, but no direct proof currently.

As for him? There's always more tombs to raid out there, and inns to frequent. Besides, he abhors the nobles and have little interest in socializing with them more than he haves to, so distance helps on that, and in his search to perhaps find himself a very special somepony. A treasure he have yet to stumble across.
