Appearance: Brave Wing is quite tall even for a pegasus since he built up his posture while doing chores typical for an earth pony caused by his handicap. Hi's colour palette is quite similar to Applejack's however you can spot the darker tones of his orange and hay like colours. He may be recognized by a dark orange strand on his mane and brown pilot jacket. Also his right wing bandaged.

Cutie Mark: His cutie mark represents willingness and power to break through the obstacles and reach any goal which is described by the star but also tells about his desire to fly which is presented by wings.<br />

Personality: Brave Wing is a type of a straight stallion who once sets himself a goal, he tries to accomplish it no matter what, trying to be at his best.<br />He is a kind person which is a result of the warm upbringing when he was a colt. He was taught that he shouldn't be using his energy for fiddling and stupid things like brawl. Thanks to his younger sister's tragic story and true brotherly love he shared to her but also how much their parents loved both Brave Wing and his sister, he learned the value of a family and we can say that he is a type of a warm guy who was a great brother and can become a good father.<br />Still Brave Wing can be pissed, especially when it comes to being derided because of a handicap which can be his handicap of somepony else which made him take a couple of fights and brawls when he was a teen. <br />He is also a daydreamer which sometimes can get him into trouble.<br />He is also quite shy to mare's what makes his academic friends furious since he's a quite good looking stallion and the fact that he's shy and kind makes mares to be interested in him, however he is not being surrounded by them, but only is the topic of conversations between mares.<br />He's weak to alcohol. When he drinks up 2 cider steins, he needs to be brought back home by his friends.

Unable to fly on his own.<br />Occupation: Equestrian Air Self Defence Forces fighter pilot / Mirramare Fighter Weapons School instructor<br /> <br /><br /> <br />Brave Wing was born in Manehattan by the beginning of summer 1986ET (Equestrian Time).<br />His mother owned a flower shop and a greenhouse on the top of the tenement house, they were living in in the Manehattan East District. On the other hand, his father Loudspeaker was working as radio announcer in Equestrian Publick Radio where he was running the "Pony Rock-Around" broadcasts.<br /> <br />Forgetmenot & Loudspeaker<br /><br /> <br />The beginning of Brave's life was not very bright.<br />In spring 1986 due to a magical catastrophe which occured in the far away country of Russconia causing the cloud of toxic magical waste travel towards west, reaching Equestrian Eastern Border (an analogy to Chernobyl dissaster).<br />Many ponies were forced to receive special magical and medical treatments to protect themselves from the side effect of "The Waste". Forgetmenot needed to treat herself as well but in the end the medicine caused further problems when Brave Wing was born. It happened that his entire right wing was deformed and he suffered myocarditis by which he had to take several surgeries without any hope for flying on his own.<br /> <br />Still...<br /> <br />His parents didn't want their son to end up as a "sissy", so they decided to teach him how to break the obstacles, search for goals and trying accomplishing them as hard as possible and to find joy in everyday life. That's why they tried to make his life as happy and inspiring as can be.<br />Little Brave or Bravey like his mom liked to call him was a cheerful colt. Since he couldn't fly, he was doing things typical for a earth pony like carrying heavy bags with soil and manure while he was helping his mother in their greenhouse and florists, that's why his posture became quite big for a pegasus.<br /> <br /> <br />His first major passion was drawing. After his dad burned out a simple train drawing on Brave's wooden spoon, little cold was so absorbed and amazed by what Loudspeaked did, that drawing became his passion. He was nurturing this passion, therefore when he had time between school and helping his parents, he was drawing, drawing and drawing.<br />One day he won a second prize in an art contest organized by the local gallery where the award was the 4 week long visit in one of 3 places cooperating with the contest.<br />Since Brave Wing never had a chance to go outside the city, he decided to choose going to the farm.<br /> <br />Yes...<br />You are thinking correctly!<br />(WARNING. OC x Canon)<br /> <br />It appeared that one of the places cooperating with the contest was the Sweet Apple Acres.<br />Bravey spend entire 4 weeks on learning about the farm life, and playing with his first friend ever who was nobody else like little Applejack.<br />They were often telling themselves stories, helping AJ's parents with choirs etc.<br />Unfortunately vacation at the farm came to an end and Brave Wing had to go back home but before that, he granted AJ with a gift which was a drawing he made for her at the evening, before his parents picked him up.<br /> <br />They have not met again after this so far.<br /> <br />Ok ok but what about his cutie mark?<br /> <br />Brave Wing was a good boy but not always. When he was in the third grade class, he was bullied many times by a older pegasus from the fifth grade who was laughing at his ill wing. The crucial moment was when Brave Wing got into a fight with him when he ilsulted Forgetmenot calling her a freak who granted Equestria with a grounded sissy. Brave Wing loved his mom very much and he couldn't stand calling her a freak, so he suddenly went into rage and attacked the bully. Even though the bully was a strong colt, since strenght which Brave Wing gained thanks to helping his parents, he also beaten a s**t out of him. In result both colts were punished by the principal who also called parents to school.<br />He was scolded by his parents, oh yes he was, however they wanted him to learn a lesson from what happened. He was adviced that he should not was his energy for silly things and use it to accomplish his future goals.<br /> <br />At his 5th birthday Brave Wing was taken by his parents to Air Show held at the Mirramare Fighter Weapons School where the first Equestrian jetfighter was presented to the society. Brave Wing was amazed not only by what the pilot was doing in the air but mostly by the fact that the pilot was an earth pony, This made him realize that he can fly after all, only he had to do was to become a pilot what became his life milestone.<br /> <br />"Daddy! Daddy! I will use my energy to be a pilot! Like you said!"<br />"Good for you Bravey, and we will support you in it" ~Brave Wing to Loudpeaker<br /> <br />During the airshow it was possible to take a photo with the pilot for 30 bits or fly as a passenger in the jet for 100 bits, however nopony was interested in this since the machine occured to be too intimidating for an average pony who have never seen a jet before. On the other hand Brave Wing was so fascinated by the pilot who's name was Dornier Flieger and finally spend all his savings and paid for the fly by. When he got off the plane he was called by the pilot, the most brave colt he ever met but not that was the cause of the crowd's cheerful reaction. When Bravey was boarding the plane, he was a blank flank. When he got off the plane he was blessed with his cutie mark.<br /> <br />What happened afterwards?<br />Brave Wing dedicated his life to airplanes. He wanted not only to break his life obstacle, but to became as good as Dornier Flieger or even better.<br />Before we go further with his story, when Brave Wing was 7 years old, his little sister was born:<br /> <br />When Delicate Jay was born, Brave Wing was already 7 years old however she didn't have such luck like her brother and her organism wasn't so resistant as Brave, therefore she was very weak and almost couldn't move on her own, that's why she had to be transported everywhere on wheelchair and and take medicines via drip every day. For her own good, the family decided to move from crowded and noisy Manehattan to a florist-gastronomical farm about 110 miles west from the city.<br />Despite her illness, Jay was a very cheerful filly. One of her most favorite hobbies was bird watching but she loved spending time with her older brother most of all. Every day when Brave Wing was at home, they were playing under old oak which grown about 300 meters from their farm to this day.<br /> <br />Her brother served a major role model in her life. She was so enthusiastic for his dreams about becoming a pilot and was so impressed by his will to fight his natural obstacle that she was cheering him as best as she could and silently believed that someday she will recover. That's why one day they both promised to each other that when Brave Wing will finally become a pilot, they will take an evening flight above their farm, watching the orange sky from above clouds.<br />Unfortunately when she was 11 years old, her illness gotten worse and she died when her brother was attending the pre-final flight tests.<br />Despite a great loss and sadness, convinced by Dornier who was his supreme officer in the academy Brave Wing decided that he won't give up and throw the promise away, that's why he began working even harder to become not only one of the best pilots in EADF, but the very best stallion and person, someone others can rely on.<br />His family-oriented nature evolved and he promised himself, that in the memory of his beloved sister, one day he will take a pony he love for the same evening flight as he wanted with her, and this future pony will be his daughter Wild Tempest.<br /> <br /><br /><br /> <br /><br /> <br /><br /><br /> <br /><br /> <br /> <br /><br /> <br />
