Personality: Opal is shy around others, aside from Tempest and his family. She is also very loyal and will not betray her friends, a trait that she learned from Tempest. Dark Opal is also very imaginative and smart. Her main attribute is that she has a heart of gold. She will do anything to help those in need.

Backstory: Dark Opal was only a egg when Tempest, who was only eight at the time, found her far away from any dragon nest. The cyan pegesus decided to do the right thing and took the egg home. It wasn't long before his family found out, and they helped Tempest with the egg. When she hatched, Dark Opal was given her current name by Tempest. She was raised by Tempest and his family for 8 years. She was taught by Tempest and quickly caught on to the lessons. Her diet consisted of precious gems,such as rubies and emeralds. When she was 10, Opal learned to fly and breath fire. A few years later, when she was 18, Opal moved out and is currently living in a cave in the Everfree forest, not far from where Tempest origionally found her. Eventhough she enjoys her life and loves Tempest, she still wonders if she'll ever have the opportunity to meet her real parents.
