They represent Enzo's talent in controlling magics and mana.<br /><br />Alongside this meaning, the wings also represent his personality: Flighty and always on the move. He travels a lot, and hates being confined/

Personality: Enzo has a slight case of ADHD. Backstory: Silly song aside ( THE CRINGEY SONG HAS BEEN DELETED NOW THAT I LOOK AT IT AGAIN ) , here is a more detailed backstory about Enzo, not limited by the lyrical structure of the fresh prince's theme song. <br /><br />His backstory:<br /><br />Enzo's species was unknown to ponykind. They were an elusive forest-dwelling species, living in small, hidden communities. The everfree forest had a population of this species, mother nature herself actively making sure that the species was never discovered, 'dissuading' ponies from investigating and walling their home from sight with her slender branches. Within a hidden grove they thrived, living off the bounty of the forest. They cared little for the sun and moon. Their only god was mother nature herself. Every tree was sacred to them. Especially the big one in the middle, in which this community built a shrine to worship nature, cos y'know, it's always the big ancient tree. The entire place was saturated with natural magic. The fruit was the sweetest. The grass was the greenest. And the big tree, well, you guessed it: It has a ton of concentrated natural magic.<br /><br />Magic can also be volatile if it wants to.<br /><br />This brings us to our little guy, Enzo. ( to be continued )<br /><br />( short version of what is to be continued )<br /><br />So basically Enzo was left alone in the village during the battle between tirek and twilight. One of those geniuses missed a laser and by sheer unluckiness it hit the tree and blew it up. Combining Enzo's tendency to fuck things up and that he was the only pony in the village, the village assumed Enzo was the culprit and exiled him from the place. So yeah.<br /><br /><br />The story behind Enzo's cutie mark: This happened before he was banished and met khris. It was a normal day in the everfree forest. The birds were chirping, the manticore was roaring, bloody murder of animals everywhere..<br /><br />The peaceful scene was disrupted by a stag bursting through the thicket, running for his life, away from a certain Zebra, tears of laughter streaming down his face. He had added an extra ingredient to the zebra's ( he remembered her name was zecora ) potion, which caused it to combust and emit fumes with effects similar to marijuana. However, this time, the Zebra was ready, with speed and strength enchancing potions at her disposal, she chased the Stag through the forest, slowly but surely gaining on him ( play the benny hills theme ). Uknown to the Stag, the zebra had taken a shortcut through the thicket, sliding through a hollow trunk buried in the dirt. Emerging very dirty at the other end, Zecora tripped the stag, causing him to lose his balance, ending the pursuit.<br />Enzo was trapped in the clearing, he tried desperately to escape, but the Zebra mercilessly blocked his path each and every attempt. At that point, he was desperately gathering as much magic as he possibly could from his surroundings in an effort to meet the Zebra head on.He needed a miracle, and a miracle he received. The sky erupted into a myriad of colours, exploding in a circular rainbow. The sonic rainboom. Enzo felt his environment completely saturate with magic. The runes on his antlers shone with a brilliant light, greedily taking in the magic. Enzo could feel the power coursing through his veins. He cackled manically. He felt like power incarnate himself. Eyes glowing, he stomped his hoof into the ground, shaking the earth with a blue glow. Power seemed to seep into the ground from his hooves, unknowingly nurturing the dormant poison joke seeds in the ground to full bloom. The zebra froze in shock, not daring to move as the hilarious blue flowers sprouted around him. Laughing like a madpony, he let loose his power, summoning a swirling wind around him that shrouded the stag in a cloud of dust, leavin behind nothing but his footprints. And with a flash, his cutie mark appeared.<br /><br /><br />Khris is a sword imbued with the spirit of a unicorn who accidentally bound his spirit to a sword. He was chased out of his ponyville for dabbling with taboo magics related to death and got lost in the everfree forest. He tried to enchant the sword he carried in self defence with a life stealing spell to help him survive the forest, but accidentally bound his spirit to the sword. He spent the next 50 years bored in his prison, cursing his own stupidity and had come to accept his fate, until Enzo found him in the forest. Enzo offered to destroy the sword and give khris the mercy of death, or join him in his adventures so that he could live the life he lost to his stupidity. He chose the latter, and thus, khris and Enzo travel together and have become incredibly close companions. He is capable of using a limited number of spells that buffs/enchants the sword he is bound in with elemental effects and powers.<br /><br />Khris was a master swordsman back in his day, developing a fighting style that had various 'stances' to switch between depending on the battle. He once participated in the Canterlot 'grand tournament', besting the then captain of the royal guard and reigning champion in one on one combat purely by swordplay, knocking out the entire competition's biggest threat in the first round. However, later in the competition, he was unjustly disqualified after besting a high ranking noble in combat.<br /><br /><br />He often provides a voice of reason for Enzo<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br />
