Appearance: Tall and lean, with a pitch black coat and red mane.

Cutie Mark: A gladius (Roman short sword). He comes from a long line of proud soldiers, and has the same martial skills as his ancestors.

Personality: Loyalty, honor, and duty are everything to him. He will never back down from a challenge and can be very competitive. He is dedicated to mastering the art of swordsmanship.

Backstory: He was raised to believe that nothing is more important than service to his country. His parents both came from military families and it was expected that he would join the military himself when he came of age. With this in mind, his parents raised him to be strong, independent, fiercely loyal, and a master in all forms of combat. By the age of ten, he was regularly going hunting with his family, and by the age of twelve, he was skilled enough to easily go out hunting on his own. He got his cutie mark when he singlehandedly fought and killed a bear, armed with nothing but an old, dull, sword. He has dedicated his life to becoming the best soldier he can possibly be.
