Personality: Melody Ink's personality is much like that of your common teenage human misfit. She suffers through life dealing with bullies, being an outcast, social awkwardness, and unstable mentality. She's naturally a happy-go-lucky, careless pony who tries to put the past behind her. Due to her depression and deranged mentality she can sometimes "snap" and go insane with no mercy towards anypony that get's caught nearby while she's unable to control her actions.

Backstory: Melody Ink was born and raised in a small town just outside of Baltimare. Growing up, Inky was always a loner and spent most of her time with her imaginary friends or a pen. The fact that Inky didn't receive her cutie mark for a long time combined with her eyes being mismatched caused her to be an immediate outcast amongst other fillies and colts. When she finally did earn her cutie mark, she had already been a social outcast for such a long time that she was uncomfortable with the idea of hanging out with other ponies that she pushed most ponies away and chose to be a loner. She quickly relocated to the outskirts of the Everfree Forest to get her alone time while still being in close proximity to a pony community.
