Appearance: Her mane and tail always appear wet(due to her Siren nature) regardless of attempts to dry them. <br /><br />She wears an amulet under her scarf that keeps her in her Pegasus form.<br /><br />Her eyesight is poor(from reading in starlight and long hours by candlelight), and so wears glasses.

Cutie Mark: Seven stars, representing her love of the night sky(as well as her Siren nature). The stars were used in ancient times to navigate the open seas.<br /><br />She received her cutie mark after correcting one of her teachers about the stars in the night sky. She got her cutie mark short after.

Personality: Outgoing, and will talk ears off about the stars and the night sky. <br /><br />She refuses to talk about her appearance, and gets angry if pushed about. <br /><br />Also, she enjoys singing, but not the eerie singing of other Sirens(she is fully capable of that, but refuses to). She only sings to herself, in the dark of night.

Backstory: Born in Horseshoe Bay, Moonlit was left on the shores near Baltimare. Rather then leave a young child to die, the Pegasus couple who found her took her in.<br /><br />Raising a Siren, especially with their history in Equestria, was a difficult prospect. But Velvet Dove and Sunflare tried their best, and with the help of a family friend crafted a pendant that would keep the Siren's nature a secret, while also allowing her to feed.<br /><br />Moonlit never knew she was a Siren until her 10th Birthday, when a local school bully kept calling her a blank flank and questioning her ability to fly. When she reached her breaking point, the pendant her parents told her never to remove flared, and her Pegasus disguise fell.<br /><br />Distraught, she ran away and hid in the forests surrounding Batlimare. When her father found her, he explained everything. That they found a newborn on the shores, they took her in, and taught her everything they knew. "But I'm a MONSTER" she cried, and her Father explained that some ponies may see that, but neither her mother nor he saw "our daughter as a monster".<br /><br />Moving to Canterlot shortly after 'The Incident', Moonlit found her passion in the Night sky and devoted her life to that(despite joking from her mother that she would make a great opera singer).<br /><br />She works for a mapmaker in Canterlot(but travels across Equestria), but spends most of her time in Ponyville. This is due to the excellent nighttime conditions.
