Cutie Mark: His cutie mark is 6 pointed star, with 6 other starts on the inside of it (5-4 pointed stars, and 1-6 pointed star), and signifies his proficiency in magics.

Personality: Nova is quite social, always looking for a pony to party, chat, or be with. He love to do all three. He loves to joke around, but, when he is being serious. He is being serious. His mood can swing from "I love ya man!" to "Your death will make cupcakes look like a child's tale" in a split second, if you say the wrong thing. But other than that, yeah, he can be quite the pony to be around.

Backstory: Nova Whooves was born in Canterlot to a financially struggling family. His colt-hood consisted of constant moving, his parents being harassed by debt collectors, minor to massive mood swings, and the death of his brother from the flu. He was around 10 (human) years old, when he was finally introduced to the studies of science and magic. Prior to this, he could only use his magic for acute levitation of everyday objects. After it though.. he became extremely proficient in advanced magics, such as teleportation, minor conjuration, and some combat magic. That is where he obtained his cutie mark. He later discovered, around age 17, that his magic was greatly influenced by his emotions, when he...well...accidentally blew up half of a home in a fit of angry magic. Two years later, he joined the military, eventually joining a royal strike force after his skill in tactics and magic proved of value, a year later. He served for the Luna branch of the...well.. branch of the forces for the next 4 years, always striving for a chance to be taught by the Princess Luna herself. On his 25th birthday, he was able to retire from the forces, and did, to pursue a civilian life. <br />Be he's always wanted that chance to be taught by Luna.
