Appearance: Rocket is a tangerine coloured pegasus with a brown, Rainbow Dash-ish mane, magenta coloured eyes, and a splash of freckles across the front of her face. She is of average size for a pony her age; not tall, not short, not fat, though a little on the skinny side. Her wings are, unlike most pegasus's rounded tipped feathers, pointed at the ends.
Cutie Mark: Her cutie mark is of what she calls a 'Rocket-Pencil'; a pencil with pink rocket fire where the eraser should be. On the surface it showcases her special talent, drawing, but if you look into it more, it has several hidden features that describe Rocket. For one, the rocket fire is pointed at the ends, just like her wings. And the fact that the rocket pencil is travelling upwards can symbolise Rocket's aspirations of always trying to improve her talents and 'fly higher'.
Personality: Rocket, if summed up in one word, is an optimist. She always tries to look on the bright side of things and hope for the best, even in situations where there is little hope. Being an optimist makes every day that much more enjoyable; suddenly everyday activities like eating breakfast or flying are super duper fun. But being the optimist, she can also be stubborn, never giving up hope when there truly is nothing that can be done. This can cause plenty of stress and frustration to Rocket; think of that old Sisyphus myth.
Backstory: Rocket used to live in a small village near Neighagra Falls with her her mom, dad, and little brother. She didn't learn to fly until after all her peers had, a result of her oddly pointed wings. This led her to want to use her wings for other things; namely painting. She earned her cutie mark one she realised how much fun it was to draw things, and that she wanted to continue improving until she was one of the best artists in Equestria.<br />After her foal years, Rocket moved to Vanhoover and set up an art shop in search of a new setting and some income. While her shop was in the city, she made her home on a cloud a little bit north Vanhoover, wanting to have a place to escape the hustle and bustle when she was done with work. This is where she lives today, always working to improve her artistic skills.
