Cutie Mark: A pair of hairdressing scissors. She got it when she styled her friends' manes during a sleepover.

Personality: Nosy and gossipy, yet warm and bubbly.

Backstory: Ruby Shears is the wife of Refund Check and mother of Brownie Chip and Sundae Shake. She owns a manedressing salon a block and a half from her family home but being a stay at home mom is her second job when her husband or father-in-law can't take care of her foals.<br /><br />Ruby is deathly afraid of cemeteries to the point of absolutely refusing to attend burials. This owed to a fillyhood accident when she fell into an open ditch and had to be rescued.
