Appearance: Scaly, deep brown hide and rugged spikes cover this half dragon, half horse hybrid creature, known as a Longma. Any semblance of hair that is located along his head, neck, and tail is two shades of green spines to help conceal him in his forest habitat. On his head are two horns resembling those of a stag's. Senlin is about 5 feet in height (horns included) and his dragon wings has the wingspan of an average pegasus. In all respects he looks like a mature pegasus with dragon features at first glance.

Cutie Mark: None but he does have something similar; the symbol on his flank is his name. <br /><br />His mark defines his home and his family, specifically his sister whom he lost when he was young. He had his name, Sen, joined with his sister's name, Lin, to remember her by. Alternatively, the home aspect of his mark's meaning is a term for forest as he and his clan live in one.

Personality: Senlin comes off as a strange creature in both appearance and attitude. Ponies often steer clear from him because of his dragon-like physique and his tendency to talk to himself. He is introspective but he is often left to himself due to others keeping their distance. Despite this, he wants to try to reach out to others but is hindered by his upbringing; being surrounded only by his own kind and learning to be overly cautious of anyone outside of it is both a blessing and hindrance. <br /><br />But if anyone ever crosses him or his sister, or if either of their safety were in jeopardy, he wouldn't hesitate to break his composure and act in defense. Unfortunately, this means he would act on his emotions over rational thinking once this happens.

Backstory: Senlin was previously named Sen, one of two children who lived lived in the forest with his family and clan of fellow longma. As a young longma, he often frolicked with his sister Lin in the forest despite the warnings from his clan about the dangers of the creatures living in the forest. Unbeknownst to him and Lin, young longma are often targets of predators who hunt within the forest and sure enough, they ignored those warnings. It happened that one evening, Sen and Lin went a little too far away from where they are allowed to be. Sen doesn't remember the details very well but he and Lin were separated from each other. As he returned to his clan, he turned to discover that Lin wasn't behind him. He was scared for her and pleaded with the clan to search the woods for her. Days and nights passed and with each search, he became more hopeless and eventually, the clan decided to call off the search for Lin. Sen was devastated at the news and even more so when his clan would keep watch on him to stop him from hurting himself even further. He eventually came to blame himself for losing his sister and requested his clan to etch the name of his sister onto his flank and changed his name to Senlin, a way to remember his lost sister and friend. <br /><br />To make up for his mistake, he secretly left the confines of his clan's home in the forest to see the world. He believes that his sister's "essence" lives on as long as someone still remembers her, all thanks to his clan's beliefs on the matter but even then he is still unsure if she is truly gone. He left his home for two reasons: to find Lin if she is out there or if she is truly gone, to show her the world knowing that she is still by his side and hoping he can do right by her. If he should ever see her again, it will mean the world to him.
