Appearance: Silver dappled coat, royal blue and white mane and tail, blue eyes.

Cutie Mark: Musical notes and a treble clef representing his talent for wood wind instruments and song writing.

Personality: Extrovert. Flirtatious with the mares, Is very witty and has a good sense of humor. Can be sarcastic. Very loyal and accepting of others just the way they are. (Except if they are obnoxious bullies) Strongly believes in the power of the elements of harmony and friendship and seeks to master each one of them. Gets very embarrassed about his dapples since nopony else hes ever met has them.

Backstory: As a colt Silver Note was picked on during pony school because of the unusual dappling on his coat. He left Cloudsdale in hopes of joining the Wonderbolts. At least the uniform would cover up his dapples! Mid way through training Spitfire informed him that he was not fast enough, or athletic enough to be a Wonderbolt. She encouraged him to pursue performing arts instead. <br /><br />Sad and dejected, Silver Note made his way through Canterlot hoping to join the symphony orchestra. On his way he passed a sign that said "Canterlot military now recruiting." He decided to sign up. The recruiting officer interviewed him asking "Can you wield a sword" answer: Nope. "hold a shield?" Nope. "Fight in any way, shape or form?" Nope. So the officer asked "Then what do you hope to bring to the Royal Guard?" Silver answered with pride "Music!" then he pulled a bugle out from his saddle bag and played a fiesty battle charge, ending in a flourish. The recruiting officer stared at him, drop jawed, for a full 15 minutes in silence before stating "you're in!"<br /><br />During Hoof Camp, Shining Armor noticed Silver Note's natural ability to motivate and encourage others with his music, powerful speeches and uplifting words. He promoted SN to Chief song writer and motivator of the Royal Guard.
