Appearance: <p> A regular brown coat and a darker color mane and eyes. The mane is a simple, short and shaggy hairstyle, and the tail is of medium length. </p> <p> Poking out from above Striking Detail's temples are ram's horns, bigger than depicted in the Pony Creator picture. They sprout from above his temples, curve behind his ears, grow forward towards his cheeks and finish with a final jut upwards which would point forwards if Striking Detail tilts his head right. For reference of length, this would mean that Striking Detail would always see the tips of his horns in his peripheral vision. </p>

Cutie Mark: <p> A feather, representing his knack for journalism, under a magnifying glass, representing his attention to detail. </p>

Personality: <p> Due to how Striking Detail's ram's horns curve around his head, there are few sleeping positions where Striking Detail doesn't feel uncomfortable. Because of that, it's rare to see Striking Detail in a particularly energetic mood. This would also mean that he would be grouchy at times.  </p> <p> <br /> But while a slackard, he does have the feeling of obligation to keep up his honor if provoked. Therefore, motivation doesn't come quick, but once sparked, there's little in life that can compare to the conviction Striking Detail will have to attempt to complete the task at hand. Comparatively, his patience is also great to a degree, lest he is not pestered by a night of particularly restless sleep. </p> <p> As opposed to one might expect from an earth pony "gifted" with the possession of an additional natural blunt-force impact weapon, Striking Detail lives up to his cutie mark and tends to take the analytical approach to problems, as opposed to brute force. </p>

Backstory: <p> Striking Detail grew up as a standard city pony in Manehattan, went to standard pony school and decided upon a career in journalism. The first time he managed to achieve a front pager due to one small detail which set his article apart from the rest among his co-journalists, he finally earned his cutie mark as a very late bloomer. He lived a decently happy life as a journalist for a few years after that, despite his lack of particularly close friends. </p> <p> Until one unfortunate afternoon where he would obtain a rather obvious pair of ram's horns. Reluctant to return to his life where people would immediately pick him up on as great scoop and nothing more, he has since then been wanting a change of pace in life.
