Appearance: Viktor is an intimidating specimen of a reindeer, with a deep chest and wide, powerful haunches. His antlers are sharp and the color of dull bone, and his wide triangular ears are extremely alert and often swivel to catch conversation. Dark slate blue eyes are often mistaken for black, and are deeply set in his face. Because of the strength of his lower jaw and the pure power in his physique, he often looks frightening or threatening.<br /><br />His coat is dark brown and quite coarse, and gets thicker and softer in the wintertime. Despite the winters in Equestria being extraordinarily mild compared to what he's used to, he still wears his sheepskin lined saddle and scarf when it snows. He has a streak of paler tan on his belly running up his broad chest and the underside of his fluffy tail.

Personality: "A hard worker," his boss reports. "Always on time, always keeps to himself, does his work correctly. Couldn't ask for a better employee, even if he is a reindeer." <br /><br />"Such a good boy," his landlord says. "No wild parties, always pays the rent, just an all around good kid." <br /><br />While not exactly well received by his peers, due to his thick accent and mild language barrier, Viktor is nonetheless liked by older ponies and the people he works for. He's a hardworking, steadfast, dedicated reindeer who's strength can enable him to do staggering amounts of work with a minimum of fuss. <br /><br />Due to his immigrancy, he doesn't quite get pony humor and even though mares occasionally find him attractive, he doesn't find the appeal in skinny, petite pony fillies. Therefore he's not often active in a social life, but when ponies do take the time to continue conversations with him, they find him a loud, friendly presence. <br /><br />He is down to earth, and not prone to bouts of nerves or hysteria. Generally a good old boy, he loves hard cider and thick ales, cold winters and crackling fires. As a drinking buddy he's horrible - he can drink twice the weight of any pony who challenges him, and becomes a very noisy drunk. <br /><br />He definitely has a mischievous streak in him, and loves to laugh at a good raunchy joke. He's a stallion's stallion, and even though he is respectful towards mares, he prefers them to be pretty and quiet. Boisterous and generally very likable, the heavily accented reindeer can endear himself to nearly anypony.

Backstory: Viktor grew up on a icy farm in Vaporia, where the winters are bitter, dark, and seem to last forever. He was content to spend his days working with his family, pulling sleds full of supplies from small town to small town, but his mother was a reindeer of more refined tastes. Viktor is the watered down grand-nephew of a dignitary of some kind, who often visited Equestria on official business. Viktor's mother was determined to scrape out a better life for her son.<br /><br />Quite against her husband's wishes, Viktor's mother bought him a ship fare and sent him to get his education, knowing that there would be only a cold, illiterate future for her bright son. Viktor soon found himself in the hooves of distant relatives, who took him in and educated him as best they could. <br /><br />He's been living a very simple live in Equestria, content to work hard, and eat heartily.
