Appearance:

Zarosian is a very tall stallion (slightly taller than Princess Celestia). His fur/coat is a shade of purple and his mane is a light shade of golden blonde. His eyes are a deep red and are partially covered by his medium-long mane.

His clothing has varied over his time on Equestria, but his modern-day attire consists of a smart white shirt with a sleeveless black overshirt. He also wears a light green tie.

Cutie Mark:

His cutie mark is the symbol of Zaros with three crystals behind it. This symbolises his mastery and dedication of the Vitreus (crystal) spellbook, one of the five books of Zaros. The cutie mark also symbolises his potential to do anything he chooses as the master of his own destiny.

Personality:

In modern days, Zarosian is mostly withdrawn and keeps to his small group of friends.

Despite being asked on multiple occasions by Celestia to advise, Zarosian keeps well out of Equestrian Politics. He will only interfere if he feels nopony else can help.

Until about 80 years ago when he moved to Ponyville, Zarosian was a very serious pony and did not take jokes well (Due to the events in his backstory involving the destruction of the Empire of Zaros). When he met some new faces he learned to take jokes a little better.

Back in the days of The Empire, Zarosian was very social. As Legatus Maximus it was his job to keep the ponies safe and happy. He saw it as his duty to protect innocent ponies who could not defend themselves, and still sees this as his duty to this day.
