So here are a few questions about Tartarus...

Tartarus seemed to be a bunch of stone tower things with flat tops. ;)

I think in the MLP universe, Tartarus is more of a jail than hell.

I guess anything that tries to take over the world and hurt ponies in the same manner as Tirek. It actually seemed rather empty. The Elements and Rainbow Power seem to have a mind of their own when it comes to judging villains.

Apparently, when Cereberus escaped, that was when Tirek escaped. So, if the villain, whoever that may be, could gather enough energy to break the chains, then when Cereberus abandons his post, they could escape.

You also could probably trick this dog, just give him three little doggy-biscuits, one for each head.

It worked with his mythologycal counterpart.

I don´t think Tartarus is hell, it never was mentioned in the show as such, and the ancient-greek Tartarus was a deep pit in the underworld, where the greatest enemies of the gods were imprisoned, while hell were the Fields of Punishment, where the sinners were, you have guessed it, punished. Tartarus usually was called worse than those Fields, which means it is a jail worse than hell.

I personally think the prisoners had to listen to some agonizing boring stuff, like the british Financial Act. Thats what I think of as worse than hell.
