Diaval 0 July 6, 2014 Share July 6, 2014 Hello, As this is the part of the forum about artwork it seemed most appropriate to post it here. If not please feel free to move it. I often see artwork of MLP online for sale that are not from Hasbro, For instance on welovefine, ebay or artsy. T-Shirts, Prints, Crafts etc. I was wondering how you would be able to sell your artwork without getting sued by Hasbro. For instance i would like to sell some Pony stuff on Cafe press. Maybe some modified Pony art with funny phrases or something. To make an extra buck. I would think this would not be allowed yet i see others do it. So how do they do it? Do they get an OK for Harbro, It is FUP or are they just selling untill Hasbro asks them to take it down? Help would be appreciated.

Considering the number of bronies there are it would be impossible for Hasbro to sue them all. There have been multiple occurrences of Hasbro issuing Cease and Desist letters to some people but even then, you just have to stop. Justin_Case001 4,881 July 6, 2014 Share July 6, 2014 I've thought about this as well. I have an art portfolio on Redbubble, but it's only completely original works. It's a pretty small portfolio, though. I'd like to expand it by doing some t-shirt designs related to popular things I like. MLP, movies, video games, etc. But, it's like, how do you do that? Like you said, OP, do you need to get permission or you'll get sued? I mean, I search Redbubble for MLP and game related stuff all the time, and there's just countless thousands of results. Soooo many. I can't possibly believe that every person on there who posted a pony design or some arrow-in-the-knee shirt got written permission from Hasbro, Bethesda, or whoever. Come on, are you kidding me? But idk, it still kind of worries me. Maybe I'm too cautious, but I'm just not sure what would be acceptable to do. I don't want to get in trouble.
