The story takes place in ponyville, the day before hearts and hooves day. There is a festival going and a fireworks display at night, with all the Princess Twilight Sparkle hosting it. As ponies prepare, one pony is worried that she won't find a special somepony in time. As nighttime falls, the first star comes out, so she makes a wish.

 

"Star light, Star bright, First star I see tonight,

I wish I may, I wish I might, have this wish I wish tonight."

 

What will she wish for? And will it come true?

"Virvidian!" Shardz yelled. "Im coming.." He replied, with a slight grumble.

"What do you need, Cousin?"

((They live together.))

"Im going to go out for a bit. Y'know, its to go see the fireworks."

"I might go out.. Maybe see if i could find somepony."

He said.

"Don't worry. You'll find your special somepony."

Shardz said, with a smile.

"Gonna fly to the festival."

He said, and flew to the festival.

Hoping to spot somepony.

Jennifer hung the last of the ribbons up. Since she had finished her work, she decided to walk around for a bit. Everypony was busy, so she wouldn't bother them. Walking, she spotted a stallion flying towards the festival grounds. Being the happy pony she was, she went over to greet him.

"Hello!" Virvidian said, who shortly hit a light pole.

Ouch.

Luckily, he was not injured.

"How are you this fine evening?"

He asked. "So, What happens to be your name?" 

He said, in a calm, and relaxed voice.

'She seems to me, like a nice pony. She might like me, but i dunno.' Hr thought to himself.
