Mysteries about Half Baked Apple

I recently had to open a new page in Spanish MLP Wiki about Half Baked Apple since there wasn't any wikia page in any language about him, in fact looks like he's the only Apple family member who didn't have any, and since he's not mentioned in any wikia there's information that nobody seems to know:

 

- What's his kinship with Applejack? Could he be her uncle? Or her godfather? Or an old cousin of her?

- How old is he? In the Apple Family reunion he looks young in the flashback when Applejack was a baby, but now in the present reunion with Applejack as a grown-up he still looks young.

- Could he have the same cultural origins from Applejack and Braeburn? His cowboy appearance is a hint.

2. I'd give him about 30 years old. He's maybe older than he looks.

Or it was an animation error, it wouldn't be the first time.

3. From Braeburn, maybe. Do we know where he comes from?

Do we know where he comes from?

 

That's a mystery too, I know he's not Appleloosan since it's a relatively new city, but their appearance gives a hint that they have the same origin.
