Scrubbed user 3,417 August 22, 2014 Share August 22, 2014 (edited) I still may be new around here, but I want to have this AMA to help people get to know me better. Even if I don't many questions about simracing, I'll still answer to the best of my ability. Edited August 28, 2014 by Azure Flare
ScarfaceOne 263 August 22, 2014 Share August 22, 2014 OK. I Have a Bedroom. My bed is in the middle and I have a large Bush TV. My bed covers the middle of my bedroom and was a double owned by my older sister. Will I be able to install a Racing Seat? The only victim in graffiti is the architect. Graffiti is not a crime. Scrubbed user 3,417 August 22, 2014 Author Share August 22, 2014 (edited) You should at least check the dimensions of any setup you intend to buy to make sure you can effectively use space. I have a Granstand cockpit. It's about 5 ft. long and 2 ft. wide (a few inches more if you have a shifter mount), so it doesn't take up much space at all. The best part of it is that it's made from 80/20 aluminum extrusion tubing, so you could probably add whatever you like to it. Pretty inexpensive too at just $425. I did see Fanatec's CSL seat, but it didn't look like it would fit my needs very good. Edited August 22, 2014 by Azure Flare
Azure Envy 1,093 August 26, 2014 Share August 26, 2014 Best wheel/pedals that won't break the bank?
Scrubbed user 3,417 August 27, 2014 Author Share August 27, 2014 (edited) For a "bang for your buck", you can't go wrong with a Logitech G27. It comes with everything you need, and you can still buy one brand new from Logitech for $300. As far as "breaking the bank", it depends on how much you have to spend. I would only be willing to spend as much as I did to have my Fanatec Clubsport wheelbase with the Formula rim and the wonderful Clubsport V2 pedals. I bought it while they still had the bundles for $800. I think it was worth every penny. One could spend well over $1000 on a wheel and pedal setup, but why would you? ScarfaceOne 263 August 30, 2014 Share August 30, 2014 Erm, what is a blue worshipper? Someone who worships the color blue? The only victim in graffiti is the architect. Graffiti is not a crime.
Scrubbed user 3,417 August 30, 2014 Author Share August 30, 2014 Yes. I absolutely love the color blue. There is another reason why I do, but I'm not ready to talk about that just yet. I will say it has something to do with the Earth's oceans though.
ScarfaceOne 263 August 31, 2014 Share August 31, 2014 I Have another question, I am around 220 pounds. Will I fit in an F1 Car? The only victim in graffiti is the architect. Graffiti is not a crime.
Scrubbed user 3,417 September 1, 2014 Author Share September 1, 2014 No idea. The cockpit of a modern F1 car is built to fit someone who is around 5' 6" and weighs 145 lbs.
ScarfaceOne 263 September 27, 2014 Share September 27, 2014 Is Forza Horizon a good game to play with a cockpit? Are any open world driving games? Is Forza Motorsport 4 still a realistic game to play with a cockpit? The only victim in graffiti is the architect. Graffiti is not a crime. Scrubbed user 3,417 September 28, 2014 Author Share September 28, 2014 I would never know what Forza Horizon is like to play play as I have never played it. I mainly just have a problem with the way that Microsoft does things, so I would never give them my money. However, I have read that Forza Horizon is a great game. There are a couple of open-world driving games, like Test Drive Unlimited 1 and 2, Forza Horizon, and there are a couple for the PC, but their names escape me at the moment. As far as playing it with a cockpit, once I got into mine for the 1st time, I could never go back to anything else.

ScarfaceOne 263 October 17, 2014 Share October 17, 2014 OK, New question you probably won't know the answer to. My motorsports association says that I need a drivers license before I set out for a National B license(And I mean real life, not Gran Turismo). But I am disabled. Why is this? Scrubbed user 3,417 October 18, 2014 Author Share October 18, 2014 As you said, I can't quite answer why you would need a valid drivers license to compete on the track. I guess you'll have to ask them. I'm only a pretend race driver.

One of my friends also on the internet do not know it. But I am pretty sure you do. Jeremy Clarkson actually owns a cabinet!!! The only victim in graffiti is the architect. Graffiti is not a crime. Scrubbed user 3,417 October 18, 2014 Author Share October 18, 2014 I know of Sega Rally, but I've never played it. I'm not completely sure what you mean by "Daytona", the only thing that comes close to mind is Daytona USA. Fun fact: In the upcoming game, project CARS, one of the cars featured is a early 90's style stock car. Because it looks so similar to a car from Daytona USA, one of the liveries that will come with the car is an hommage to Daytona USA.

I heard the game got delayed until 2015. So hopefully it will be enough time to change the name. Project CARS sounds like a WIP game. But I guess if they couldn't find any other names that will have to stick. Also, can I have a picture? And the game was Daytona USA!!! I LOVE IT!!! The only victim in graffiti is the architect. Scrubbed user 3,417 October 20, 2014 Author Share October 20, 2014 Project CARS will be released on the same day as GTAV for PS4 (which imma get), XBone, and PC. I actually haven't seen a picture of the Daytona USA-type livery, but I've been told by a few people who are WMD members that it's there. As far as the name goes, it's still a month out, but it's been called that since work began in 2011, so I don't it's going to be changed.

Scrubbed user 3,417 October 22, 2014 Author Share October 22, 2014 I did check, and it is in fact true, dammit. Bandai Namco (the distributer of the game) said that they wanted to "miss the holiday shopping season as to not go against the big household names", which is a dumb move on their part. They could potentially make more money from the holiday season. Oh well, it makes 2015 a good year fro racing games. Codemasters are going to release F1 2015 early in the season, and according to my informant within Polyphony Digital, Gran Turismo 7 is projected to release in May.
