Traditional to Digital art

So, I have been drawing ponies for a few weeks now. I recently asked some friends to describe some OCs for practice. After a few days of procrastination, I made this.

 

 

 

Okay, that looks pretty decent. I'm satisfied. Pat myself on the back for that one.

 

Then I tried to scan it and color it in GIMP.

 

 

 

 

 

I strongly dislike digital art.

Thank you for the support. ^.^ I guess it does sound like I'm putting my art down. It was more frustration that Digital Art Skill doesn't equal Traditional Art Skill. It could be worse, I suppose. There was the Rainbow Dash Tutorial Incident of '14. -shudders-

Those tablet types are the bane of my existence.

 

 

 

I actually get dizzy from not being able to keep my eyes on what I am drawing on. Also the fact I have 4 20" monitors and the scale is horrid. Nawe. I use an 8" tablet to draw now. Much better. At least, I think it is. Everyone has a preference.
