Overdrive 5,366 September 8, 2014 Share September 8, 2014 First off, they didn't make a Boss Mustang in 1974. Second, Astons and Corvettes are brand new, and will be in production The Hemi Cuda is an interesting vehicle. If it is a numbers matching vehicle, meaning it has the original motor, transmission and drivetrain from the factory, that's easily a quarter million dollar car. If it's not, it's still valuable. If it was my choice, I'd take the Cuda hands down. "I'd rather trust and regret, than doubt and regret."

Miles 2,512 September 8, 2014 Share September 8, 2014 (edited) I'm a car guy, I know what I'm talking about. I second this. And also say, I too am a gearhead. Admittedly, I have to ask you @@CSlayer1064, why you don't have an option for trucks? Lol, nonetheless, while I do like 'Cudas, I'd say (to correct your year for you) to go with a '69 Boss Mustang. If you were aiming for Mopar, then at least you picked a good one with asking about the 'Cuda though. Then you could always look at the Chevy Malibu of the late 60s, early 70s. I tried not to show any bias... but I'll admit I'm a Ford guy, then Chevy, then Mopar... But, I don't hate, anything. I'd tip my hat to you if you were asking about classic imports like the Datsun Fairlady Z (*hnnngg I so love those*) or something of the like. I'm actually an AMC fan, personally, but I would honestly take anything. The Hemi Cuda, if it a genuine, numbers-matching vehicle, is a hell of a lot more rare than any of the choices given, not to mention a lot more valuable, then any of the other choices. I love the Javelin: Oh man, I'd love to have one of those... --- As for talking about value - meh, it's more of a personal taste thing for me. If I were offered two cars to choose one for free, and the one I wanted was of lesser value, I'd either choose the more valuable one and sell it, to get the one I wanted, or just pick the one I wanted from the start. ~ Rise And Rise Again, Until Lambs Become Lions ~

I actually do, it's my winter project. '71 Javelin SST, 360 and an automatic. "I'd rather trust and regret, than doubt and regret."

Overdrive 5,366 September 8, 2014 Share September 8, 2014 It's like a butternut squash color, and yes, it is staying legal. It's driveable, but it needs some serious bodywork. The hood needs replaced, the quarters are rusted out, and the bumpers could be rechromed, but it's mechanically sound. I picked it up not too long ago for $4800 "I'd rather trust and regret, than doubt and regret."
